The Food.

Our menus continue to evolve as we grow, learn, and deepen our connection with the land and the people who grow our food.

Every season brings new ingredients, new relationships, and new opportunities to create something meaningful with what’s around us.

We’re grateful to work with such beautiful ingredients and to have the opportunity to share them with others.

To us, that’s what local food is about.

It’s not just about where something comes from, but the people, the relationships, and the communities behind it.

Catering gives us the opportunity to bring those connections to the table.

To connect people with the land, with each other, and with the food we share.

Thank you to all the growers, farmers, and people who continue to be part of this journey !

Food feels different when there’s a relationship behind it.

Knowing who grows it, understanding the season, and seeing the work that happens long before anything reaches the kitchen has always been important to us.

Our time with Ntamtqen Community Garden and Food Hub has given us another way to put that into practice.

We’ve harvested together, preserved together, cooked together and shared a lot of meals.

Each time we come back, that relationship gets a little deeper.

The closer we are to the people growing our food, the closer we are to the whole journey of it.

From seed to soul.

That’s a wrap on our last Ntamtqen Community Garden and Food Hub weekend of the year.

And we definitely went all out for this one.

A full weekend of harvesting, preserving, cooking, sharing food and having a lot of fun along the way.

Really grateful for the Ntamtqen crew, the community, and everyone who’s welcomed us in throughout the year.

What started as a collaboration has grown into a relationship we’re really proud of.

Until next time!

A harvest is more than what comes out of the ground.

It’s the knowledge of how to grow it, when to harvest it, how to preserve it, and how to make sure that knowledge continues.

That’s why this work matters.

Indigenous food sovereignty is about more than access to food.

It’s about the ability for communities to grow, harvest, preserve, prepare and share food — while strengthening the knowledge, skills and relationships that make that possible.

These days at Tea Creek were spent harvesting what the land gave this season and preserving it for what comes next.

This is the kind of work Indigenous Food Sovereignty Association exists to support: building capacity, sharing knowledge and strengthening Indigenous food systems from the ground up.

A harvest feeds a season.

Knowledge feeds generations.
