Hey everyone! 👋

It’s been a while since I posted here so I figured it was time for an update! 🙈👀😅

As of right now I will not be taking anymore bookings for photography services.

What am I doing for work? I am solely focusing on my streaming and content creation career! A year ago I went full time with my streaming career and stopped taking wedding bookings. I spent my year splitting my time between already booked weddings and a few sessions and streaming as often as I could. As of October 2022, I shot my last wedding booked and will only photograph any remaining gift card sessions in 2023. I get to make content every single day from my home, talk to people from here and all over the world, play video games, make crafts and be my goofy self while having fun and making a living. I’ve been doing it since July 2020, joined an esports organization last Nov, am partnered with several amazing and large companies and love every second of this journey and job. It wouldn’t be possible without the amazing community, my Krew, that supports me and helps me live my stream dream.

I’m so incredibly thankful for the last 15 years of amazing moments I was honored to capture for you. Thank you for supporting me, trusting me and hiring me for all your life events! And I will likely still post photos I take during this journey here and or previous bookings! Good luck to all my fellow vendors and I’ll miss you all! But who knows, maybe I’ll be back at some point! 🙂

Michaela + Keegan || July 9, 2022

A large sneak peek for a large day!! This was my first wedding of 2022 and I was so excited to spend it with Michaela and Keegan at The Doctor's House Inn & Spa.

Surrounded by their family and friends at the beautiful Dr’s House, they tied the knot in the gardens, but not before doing a beautiful first look together in the Secret Garden... followed by photos of them and their bridal party. They danced the night away and had amazing weather all day long!!

Introducing the new Mrs. and Mrs. Megan and Melissa Foley!

Yesterday I spent the day with the two most beautiful brides! Megan and Melissa became instant friends of mine when we met in 2018 for a couples shoot. At the time they had their beautiful furbaby Charlie along for the session. Fast forward another year and Melissa reached out and said she wanted to pop the question to Megan and have me capture it! Melissa pulled off an epic proposal with the help of Charlie and their new furbaby, Puppy Mazie. Of course, Megan said YES! When they reached out and said they wanted me to capture their wedding day, I was so honored but also so excited that I would get to see them come full circle and capture the moments and their memories (through my tears of happiness) for two people that I've come to love so much!

Leading up to the wedding day Megan and Melissa had such a positive outlook on the day, rain or shine. Megan had me in tears at their consult when she shrugged at the impending rainy forecast and said "A knot is harder to untie when it's wet". I truly think their positive attitudes and love for each other brought a break in the weather long enough for us to dip outside for some shots in the beautiful yard of the Flat Rock Dwelling and along the Flat Rock Coastline, before heading back to spend the evening celebrating with family and friends.

As their friend and photographer, I'd like to congratulate Melissa and Megan on their beautiful wedding day and their beautiful love for one another, and wish them nothing but the absolute best.

Introducing Mr and Mrs. Mailman! *posting a few weeks late*

(We didn't post these after their wedding as I had issues with this page! I'm so glad I'm able to post them now and apologies if anyone messaged and didn't get a response! Feel free to reach out via email to [email protected] :) )

These two are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Kara and Justin were not only down to earth, they are so kind and sweet. All day they made sure WE were okay - that we were fed and ate some of their delicious foods and ensured we left with a donut (or three). By the end of the night we felt like they had been longtime friends. Their wedding ceremony took place in Kara's parents GORGEOUS backyard, like something out of a movie. Their reception was in their own beautiful home and they danced in their backyard surrounded by friends and family.

Congratulations Kara and Justin!!!! Thank you for choosing AGP to capture your day!

Well, I didn't even realize I was nominated! 😅😁 But a huge thanks' to everyone who voted for Aamie Gillam Photography! I'm proud to say I just received an email that say's we're among the winners of the Community Votes St. John's 2021! I'm also proud that people I've mentored have also placed!

Feels good to know that even though we had a rough year and ahalf; with Covid kicking my business on it's butt, that clients and locals still appreciate AGP work and recognize what I've been putting my heart into for 13 years! I needed a little good news... and I think this might be it! :)

Congrats to my husband Jim Spurrell who deserves to be recognized for this too... he's been by my side photographing weddings and more since 2014 and I'm always proud to deliver his work alongside mine.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Rowe!!! I was honored to be chosen to capture their day and what a day it was! We started in CBS in the morning and then headed to beautiful Brigus for a fairytale wedding right next to the beach. We hopped aboard Kim's fathers boat for a few photos then to a few iconic locations of Brigus! After that they had the most delicious supper at Manuels River Interpretation Center and continued the party in their backyard with Sky High Tent Rentals and the amazing The Black Sheep - band. We couldn't have asked for a better day! Thank you Kim and Brad for choosing us!! Here's the rest of their vendors along with their sneak peek!
