These fuzzy little powerhouses aren’t just cute — they’re essential to our gardens and ecosystems. 🌸

Here’s why we LOVE them: ✨ Super pollinators (hello, tomatoes + berries!)
✨ Gentle-natured and rarely sting
✨ Buzz pollinate with their tiny vibrations
✨ Live in small, cozy underground colonies
✨ Only queens survive winter — they hibernate solo and start fresh in Spring!

I have noticed our Gardens are full of them this year!🥰
They love our Liatris and Veronicastrum..both of these blooms are purple...I wonder if they love purple blooms the best?🤔😉💜

Veronicastrum in the morning light💜

The gorgeous perennial represents dignity, due to it's upright, stately, never give up attitude..this tall fellow is a stunner in the garden! Reaching up to 6ft tall in our roadside garden, he is a beautiful addition to our cutting garden and adds a wonderful texture to our bouquets and arrangements!💐💕

Also known by Culver's Root, he attracts honey bees, bumble bees and has medicinal purposes.

The added bonus, this beauty blooms twice in a season! Definitely a keeper in my books!🥰💜

The smokey haze has been slowly flooding our area all afternoon.

We are now under an air quality warning for tomorrow as the winds will be bringing more smoke into our area from the forest fires in Northern Ontario. Skies should start to clear late Monday.

Be careful outside tomorrow and hopefully the fires are put out soon! 🙏

In ancient times, yarrow was believed to have the power to ward off evil spirits and protect against curses.

They are also thought to represent Peace, Protection and Healing. 💕

On a Spiritual level, Yarrow flowers are believed to have protective properties and can ward off negative energy. And who doesn't need that?😉🥰

These lovelies also have medicinal properties! They contain anti-inflamitory and antiseptic compounds that can help with wound healing and reduce inflammation.
Yarrow Tea is also known to have a calming effect and can help with digestive issues.

The flowers are a popular ingredient in natural skincare products due to their ability to soothe and nourish the skin.

And they look amazing in our bouquets!😉💐
