It has been a very busy week here on the farm and now I am very happy to say...Lilac Season has finally begun!π₯°
I must say, The Flower Market smells amazing this morning!ππ
Lilac blooms are rich in symbolism and are often associated with:
First love & young love β especially the classic purple lilac. Traditionally, lilacs symbolize the emotions of early romance and the innocence of first love.
Spring & renewal β because they bloom so briefly and beautifully in spring, lilacs are closely tied to rebirth, fresh beginnings, and the return of warmth and abundance.
Memories & nostalgia β lilacs often carry a sentimental feeling and can symbolize remembrance, cherished memories, or longing.
Confidence & spirituality β deeper purple lilacs can also represent spiritual growth, wisdom, or confidence.
Different lilac colors have slightly different meanings:
Purple lilac β first love, spirituality
White lilac β purity, innocence, humility
Pink lilac β love, friendship, admiration
Blue lilac β happiness and tranquility
Magenta/dark lilac β passion and deep love
If you love Lilacs as much as we do, come on in and grab yourself a bunchπ
Have a lovely Friday!
