Here is the game plan for this Sunday's(May 24th) Airsoft Event at CTF
Bio Ball
In a post apocalypse era 2 clans decided that fighting was going to be the end of the both of them. Through years of peace and each clan growing they flourished. Until one day a bio weapon was found, it was located directly in between both clans bases. Each clan feared the other would use the bio weapon against them, so a plan to strike first was formulated, peace was over, the time of war is at hand. Join your clan in obtaining the bio weapon and bringing it to your enemies base! One clan will end today, the other clan will flourish and rid their land of the bio terror.
Teams & Colors:
Blue Team
Red Team
Field Setup:
Two opposing bases, one for each team, at opposite ends. The field will have a "Center Line" which is where the "Football Bio-Weapon" is placed. Each base will have a "Goal Line" which is 25% of the distance to the enemy base, or %50 to the "Center Line".
"Center Line" In the middle of field: Requiring at least one player to carry. Points are earned when the Football (Bio weapon) is brought across the enemy Goal Line.
Objective:
Each team must carry the Bio weapon to the opposing 25% line, scoring a "Touchdown" 7 points is added to the teams score and the refs will blow whistles and the field will be reset. All players move back to the Goal line.
Scoring:
A touchdown (Carry the Bio weapon to opposing 25% line, or goal line) is worth 7 points.
Teams earn 1 point for every 5 minutes of possession of the bio weapon only when carried ON THE OPPONENTS SIDE of the field.
If the Bio Weapon is on the ground or not actively carried, or NOT on opponents side of the field then no points are earned.
OFF SIDE: The team in possession must remain behind the Bio weapon until it crosses the 50% line; once the weapon is past the %50 center line, they can advance.
After a touchdown, the field resets, teams return to goal lines, and the game restarts.
DOUBLE POINTS: A smoke gr***de can be placed into the rear of the rocket, if the rocket is brought into the enemy goal line WHILE the rocket is smoking then DOUBLE POINTS (14 points) are awarded.
DEATHS:
Players that are hit will go to their teams spawn point and check in with ref. Once 10 players are gathered in the spawn then the ref will release them back onto the field. if a touchdown is scored all players are released back onto the field before the next play starts.
TIME:
Each "Half time" game will run 2 hours, then half time or lunch will take place for 1 hour, points will be totalled at the end of each half time, teams will switch sides after half time to give each team the opportunity to have any field advantage. Regular games will be held after ie TDM, or CTF or a pistols only match.
Field Rules:
All players must follow all Capture the Flag field rules.
Gun safety and chronographing follow Capture the Flag guidelines.
Eye protection is mandatory and MUST be worn at ALL times on the field, and all field marshal instructions must be followed.
Whistles: When any referee blows a whistle, all play must stop immediately. Players must follow ref directions, ie get on your team side of bio ball.
Players may pass the bio weapon to teammates, but they may not shoot while carrying it.
No DUFF calls: All players must unload their guns, make them safe, KEEP ALL PPE on and wait for further instructions from the referees before resuming.
Disputes:
When the refs blow the whistle ALL combat is to stop and await ref decisions before the play continues.
Any disputes or unclear plays will be resolved by the field marshals, and their decision is final. Any players arguing with ref calls will be placed in the penalty box, or removed from the half of the game they are in.
