Chilliwack Airshow - Flight Fest The Chilliwack Flight Fest Airshow Takes Place August 16 (Hanger Party & Dance) & 17th (Flight Fest) 2025

Originally planned as an Open House to promote the benefits of our community Airport, the first Chilliwack Flight Fest was held Saturday, September 12, 1992. Thousands of Chilliwack residents turned out to stroll among the displays, climb in and out of aircraft, meet and talk with performers, enjoy a summer’s day and an old-fashioned barn-storming airshow experience – all for free! Heading into ou

r 28th airshow season, this remarkable event continues to impress the international airshow industry. Year after year, our continued community support and outstanding sponsoring organizations assist us to host this free admission, family fun event, while offering the opportunity to learn about aircraft and aviation opportunities. The Chilliwack Airshow is one of only a few free admission shows left in North America. To help keep it that way, the only role the public must play is to arrive and enjoy the efforts of our superb volunteer team, cheer on our inspiring performers and spread the word! We made it back safely from Chilliwack, and found out we made their local newspaper! We flew a twilight show Saturday evening as well as formation and solo shows on Sunday. Thanks to everyone for coming out and it was great to perform for you!

Now we've got a bit of downtime as we prepare for our September Air Shows.

Look up, Chilliwack… the sky’s about to put on a show. 🛩️

Canada’s longest-running free air show is back this Sunday, August 17, at Chilliwack Airport. The 31st Chilliwack Flight Fest will fill the Fraser Valley skies with jaw-dropping stunts, vintage aircraft, and heart-racing aerobatics.

Expect legendary pilots like Ross Granley, the Yellow Thunder duo David and Drew Watson, and the fearless Wingwalker Sam with Pilot Mike. Plus, enjoy ground displays, a kids’ zone for your budding aviators, and plenty of food trucks to fuel your day. This volunteer-run tradition has been soaring since 1992 and remains a must-see for aviation fans across the Lower Mainland.
