Spent a couple of hours over lunch at a seniors care home Monday. I was setup as a early Canada day celebration. I could not take my usual pictures as per confidentiality rules.
It showed me how much music can affect different people in different ways.
Being used to high decibel levels and screaming along with songs at weddings and party venues, instead observing gentle hand gestures, simply mouthing all with the words and other signs, music can be a wonderful, soothing thing. It was humbling to enjoy this side of providing music. Some actually did dance to the true joy of staff. Fun it was.
