When we first rented this property we were told there was a hops vine on it that we could do with what we wanted. Yesterday we were able to harvest lots of vines with the hops and we will dry and use them in wreaths this Fall. 👍

Tonight we are harvesting as much Strawflower as we can. We like to cut them in the partially close stage because they dry better and keep their color. These will be used in wreaths and dried flower arrangements for the winter market this year❤️

Simon and I are picking all the flowers for markets this weekend. I’m in the Dahlias and he’s in the Statice. We also have Cosmos, Lisianthus, Zinnias, Sunflowers, Celosia, Strawflowers, Snapdragons, and Eucalyptus 👍

Our peony’s and ranunculus are just about done but the feverfew, roses, stock, and bellflowers are starting to bloom and we are busy sowing sunflowers, cosmos, zinnias and grasses.
