so passionate about capturing emotion through the lens and expressing stories through cinemetography and photography. I Recently discovered this love for photography and film. A dream that was always inside of me, just waiting to come out in God's perfect timing. I've had a lot of confirmation these last couple months but have been fighting with it on the inside. Only to come to realize that you can't change what gifts God has given you, eventually he pulls them out of you. I love taking pictures and freezing the one thing that is always always changing and moving- which is time,. Change is the only "constant" thing. Its inevitable , no matter what we all go through change. So I have found one of my happy places in capturing a moment that will be frozen in time, a moment and a memory that can tell a thousand words so that we may never forget where this life has taken us and the moments and the people that have impacted us greatly. I would love to get to know you so don't be afraid to wave over the social medias or ask to grab coffee! xo

60 Years of Harmony | A Lighthouse Legacy Session

Bob and Iris have been dancing through life together for nearly 60 years—and during their session for The Lighthouse Legacy, I got to witness just how deep that rhythm runs.

They sang together in their music room (red carpet and all), strummed the guitar like they’ve done for decades, flipped through old photo albums full of stories only they could tell. We laughed in their kitchen, where they slow danced like teenagers again, and then wandered outside—where they kissed beneath their front-yard tree, just as they must have so many summers ago.

They even pulled out trophies and band memorabilia from their days as The Country Drifters—a love story written in music, travel, laughter, and quiet devotion.

This wasn’t just a photoshoot. It was a chance to freeze time and honour a love that has outlived youth and changed shape with every season—yet still feels brand new in the way they look at each other.

Bob and Iris, you are legacy in its truest form. Thank you for letting me witness your song.

A bell bottom suit

A short corset dress that didn’t apologize

Chapter two: the details

Direct flash 98 percent of the day 📸

Ciggy smoke lingering through the air vents 🚬

A colour palette that didn’t just attend the wedding—it had a speaking role 💐

Whispering floorboards: one creak at a time

Chapter three: the ceremony

Wedding bands that ate and left no crumbs.💍

Moms holding hands from across the aisle: yeah we cried too. 🤝

Vows that did emotional damage (in the best way) PLOT TWIST: not just to the main characters, but like all of their guests especially the sisters 🥹

Chapter four: the dinner

Candlelight so vibey it gave the mac and cheese a personality 🕯️

10/10 fan performance. Would invite again. 🪭

Chandeliers that said “you’ve arrived”

I don’t know how to recover from this, I really don’t.

Even the ghosts I mean guests ;) were impressed. 👻

The rulebook says you’re supposed to smile at the camera. 😬

But instead, we rewrote the script; they chased each other barefoot, pointed to the birds from behind the wheel, watched the sky turn to honey and smelled the flowers.

10/10 sunrise in my books.
10/10 the way a photoshoot really should be.

Love, in many ways, is like a bicycle—steady, sometimes wobbly, but always moving forward together. It’s also like a thrift shop, full of unexpected treasures, small joys, and stories woven into the fabric of everyday life.

On this mundane Thursday, I had the privilege of capturing a glimpse into Norma and Gundisalvo’s love—a love built over decades, stitched together by laughter, patience, and the kind of ease that only comes with time.

Norma calls him in from his bike ride, a ritual as familiar as the path he pedals. Together, they set off to one of their favorite pastimes—thrifting, wandering aisles of forgotten things, searching for something new to love. When the day winds down, home welcomes them back with a board game, a sip of amaretto, and, eventually, a living room turned dance floor.

No grand occasion, no special reason—just love in its simplest, most beautiful form.

Because in the end, love isn’t about extravagance. It’s about the small, ordinary moments—the ones that, when stitched together, create the most extraordinary story of all.

We are your hubby and wife duo team living in Ontario, Canada. We have been married for just about five years and we have a marriage blog over at www.ourthreestrands.com- to learn more about "us" you can check us out there. While we love our own personal love story, we absolutely love capturing others love stories in the most authentic way!
