Hey Folks....an awesome night of blues/rock is coming to Chatham, Saturday Oct. 3, as Steve Marriner & Local Electric will be gracing the stage at the Portuguese Hall, as Canada South Blues Society continues to bring some of the top blues/roots artists from across Canada and the US to Chatham/Kent.

From harmonica to baritone guitar, from frontman to producer, Steve Marriner has spent over two decades shaping the sound of modern Blues.
With two JUNO Awards for his work with MonkeyJunk, a decade spent touring with hitmaker Colin James, and guest appearances with bona fide Blues legends like Buddy Guy and Jimmie Vaughan, Marriner has become one of Canada’s most versatile and respected musicians.
His distinctive approach to blending blues, rock, and soul music has made him a sought-after collaborator and a formidable solo artist.
With a fresh JUNO Award win in 2026 for his latest solo effort, Hear My Heart, Marriner continues to push boundaries proving that Blues isn’t just tradition - It’s alive. It’s electric. And it’s constantly evolving.
