The UK government is set to officially announce a ban on reselling tickets above face value.

After years of pressure from fans and artists like Coldplay and Dua Lipa, new legislation will make it illegal to resell tickets for more than their original cost.

🚫 No More Price Gouging: Resale prices are capped at the original price + unavoidable fees. 🔒 Fee Caps: Service fees on resale platforms will also be capped to stop hidden profits. 📱 Social Media Included: The ban applies to secondary sites AND social media marketplaces. 👮 Real Consequences: Platforms that don't comply could face fines of up to 10% of their global turnover.

This proves that fair ticketing is possible. Denmark has done it for years, and now the UK is stepping up.
