Climate change is threatening the future of outdoor hockey. Winters are already shorter and warmer, causing major changes happening on the ice.

Save Pond Hockey is a non-profit initiative whose aim is to raise awareness about climate change and encourage action - using hockey as their language.

The Climate and Sport Initiative, Town of Hay River, NT and the Polar Pond Hockey Association partnered on a Save Pond Hockey event in Hay River, Northwest Territories.

GWN Events is proud to be the logistics partner for Save Pond Hockey’s All Star Hockey Game, to be held tomorrow, Sunday, March 13th at 2PM MST.
