What does EASTER mean to YOU?

The USCC Kootenay Ladies Spiritual Meeting

To be held at The Brilliant Cultural Centre
Sunday April 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm

Our theme and prayer will revolve around the prayer
“Ходили Жены / Hodeelee Schzeni”

Lord,Give Us Thy Blessing.

These housewives walked much in their search, carrying incense of myrrh with them always. As they walked, they kept weeping. At times they changed to loud sobbing and wailing. These wives were seeking to find the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. And so they went to the city of Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, nine lengths distant from the roadway, a casket was buried. Atop this buried casket, there was placed a huge rock. Upon this rock, a Holy Angel was sitting. The Angel proclaimed through a trumpet to the wives with the incense. Why are you walking around weeping and sobbing, and seeking for a Living God amongst the dead?... You must return to your devout and humble home places, and there prepare for a new Easter celebration, one that commemorates Christ…For truly, our lord is alive by the blessing of God. Christ has arisen, and He has arisen within the hearts and souls of His Faithful Followers..
Our God be Praised.
