Never give up—because ten years from now, you could be living a life you never even imagined was possible.

I look back and see the struggle of trying to figure out Photoshop, that first DIY logo (it was rough), and the name we used before we got married and turned this into our shared dream. I see a first-time mom who had just lost her job, home with a baby, with no friends who had kids. She was trying to stay busy, trying desperately to make new connections and navigate the wild unknown of motherhood. I see her spending $8,000 on a camera and lens, praying she could make it look like she knew what she was doing—hoping people wouldn’t see how unsure she really felt.

I see a woman who was trusted by many… and doubted by just as many. Starting a business isn’t for the faint of heart. So to every single person who shared, commented, recommended me, or hired me to capture a moment in time—thank you from the bottom of my heart.

And to those who didn’t believe in me, who didn’t trust me—thank you, too. I wouldn’t be here without you either. The good always comes with the hard… the sleepless nights, the stress, the overthinking—it was all part of something bigger than I could see in those moments.

Nothing makes me more emotional than seeing where it all began, because that version of me? She was so beautiful. She took risks. She made a promise to herself that she would go the distance—even if she didn’t always believe it.

Today, we’re stepping into new challenges and chasing even bigger dreams. And I’m so grateful to be reminded of the woman who made all this possible—the one who persisted through every high and low. She pushed boundaries unapologetically. She made mistakes, learned from them, and came out stronger.

I love her. And I love the woman I’ve become for always believing that something amazing was just around the corner. I know I’m meant for more—and I hope that ten years from now, I look back on this post, tears running down my face, feeling even prouder than I do in this moment.

This year, we took a new leap by teaching photography, guiding students to build their portfolios at stunning local wedding venues. It's been such a rewarding experience!

This weekend is a busy one for us – we’re covering not one, but two weddings, AND we’ll be showcasing our work at the Ottawa Wedding Show! 🎉 We’re nearing the end of wedding season, but stay tuned because we have some exciting projects lined up for the winter. ❄️

Rebecca and Andrew’s wedding at Fairmont Montebello was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in the heart of Quebec, this stunning venue provided the perfect backdrop for their special day. The celebration was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments, making it a day to remember.

Fairmont Montebello, known for its rustic charm and luxurious amenities, was the ideal choice for Rebecca and Andrew’s wedding. This historic hotel, with its log cabin architecture and breathtaking views of the Ottawa River, offers a unique blend of elegance and nature.

The ceremony was decorated with elegant floral arrangements and white chairs, perfectly complementing the natural landscape. Rebecca looked radiant in her wedding dress, while Andrew looked dapper in his suit. As they exchanged their heartfelt vows, there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the golf clubhouse for the reception. The clubhouse, with its rustic charm and panoramic views of the golf course, was the perfect setting for a night of celebration.

Rebecca and Andrew made their grand entrance to a chorus of cheers and applause. The couple’s first dance was a beautiful moment. The reception was filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt speeches. Friends and family shared their best wishes and fond memories of the couple, adding a personal touch to the celebration.

Elizabeth & Colton’s Wedding Highlight

Their wedding at Bean Town Ranch was truly special. The weather was perfect, making it a beautiful day to celebrate their love. Their family and friends made the day even better, and you could feel how much everyone cared for them.

Their vows were so heartfelt that they had everyone tearing up, and the speeches were a mix of tears and laughter. The most unforgettable moment was their first dance on a small island, with fireworks lighting up the sky above them. It was like a scene from a movie!

“He was her personal trainer?!?” Has to be one of my favourite quotes from the speeches. We love it when the siblings of the couple go up to speak - there’s always some funny stories 🤣

We’re so happy for Elizabeth and Colton and wish them a lifetime of happiness together!

Last Sunday, we shot a beautiful wedding at Le Belvedere in Wakefield, Quebec. The venue was stunning, and the day was filled with fun and joy.

The couple and their families were so much fun to be around, and the weather couldn't have been better. The heartfelt vows and touching speeches made the day even more special.
