Bill Warren Training Centre The BWTC is located at the Canmore Nordic Centre, the host site of Cross Country Skiing & Biathlon

The BWTC was established in 1994, named after Bill Warren who played a major role in bringing the Olympics to Calgary in 1988. The BWTC is home to Canada's National cross country ski team as well as Canada's Biathlon National team. We also house the World cup Academy, Canmore Nordic Ski Club, Biathlon Alberta and few others. We also manage the Haig Glacier Operation and the Spray Village Athlete Housing. Stay tuned to this page for new photos and updates of the BWTC and Haig Glacier.

Very Exciting news! We finally got a new Cat for our Haig Glacier operation! Most of you are aware that we operate a Summer training facility for Nordic Skiers on the Haig glacier. Our current 1997 BR180 is well past its life cycle. It has taken five years to find the right machine (and the money), but here we are, a 2021 PB100! Cant wait to start grooming up there!
