Sometimes even we find treasures.

I bought this plant from a big name greenhouse, labeled as a fishbone cactus, a year or more ago. I thought it had different features than the fishbones I was accustomed to. I've kept it hidden away in my office and a few weeks ago noticed new little growths sprouting.

Low and behold, turns out this guy is a heavily sought after Orchid Cactus!! Its blooming now and I've brought it out for show. No, it's still not for sale. But please, stop by and enjoy it with me while it blooms its little heart out!

If you received flowers, please be sure to keep them nice and full of water. Each flower food packet you received makes 500ml of properly proportioned water. That's about the equivalent of a plastic, recyclable water bottle.
