We will be decorating an Indigenous tree for the Winter Solstice and would love some hand crafted decorations from the community.

Few ideas would be teepee, dream catchers, the animals from the 7 teachings, medicine wheels.

Currently I am applying for a grant for Indigenous Day and looking for Indigenous people who would like to be involved. Stay tuned for a more detailed post in regards to our needs and positions available.

We are actively recruiting Indigenous board members to join our not for profit organization.

These positions are vital in all decison making that will affect our future. We are asking that you invest a year of your time to create a holistic, safe place for the aboriginal peoples in our area to access resources, healing and medicines.

We will be having a potluck BBQ in the near future to meet each other and discuss what this means in depth.

Tansi my relatives.

The vendors at our Indigenous Market should find out about joining in on this summer market.

Bringing our culture back into the community is going to take effort in all areas.

My vision for the future includes somewhere for everyone to purchase supplies like The Wild West Gallery in Wetaskiwin, a local Restuarant featuring Indigenous Foods, day camps throughout the summer teaching our youth the way our ancestors taught us before colonialism, colloborating with local families who care for foster kids to bring them back to our culture. Our cultural ways integrated into the school system....

If you sell Indigenous crafts, join our local markets. The community of Camrose is waiting to welcome us.

Can you feel that?

The Creator, our beautiful Mother Earth, Grandfather Sun and Grandfather Moon...our Ancestors....rejoicing in our effort, our resiliency, and our courage to step forward and become leaders.

Its time to incorporate my relatives and allies.

What I need, as Board Chair of Indigenous Camrose, is to build a solid board of members who are as invested in this as I am.

Its alot of work. And positions are opening up. You would need to dedicate a year of your time to join. Send us a message, give us a call.

Lets get this not-for-profit going.
