It’s story time!

This is our beautiful, amazing, talented chef Cherry. She was born in one of the most beautiful Luxurious island in the Caribbean, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines(Paradise SVG🇻🇨). The estimated population now in 2026 is approximately 99,047. Imagine leaving your home, family, culture at age fifteen in December 1997, to start a life in a new country, and adapt to their culture. Starting life and school in a new country, is super scary;especially being that young with no friends(as you don’t know anyone as yet). Our chef got teased a bit about her language(accent) by peers. But the nay-sayers didn’t stop her from pursuing her life goals as a newcomer to Canada. Life in Toronto Ontario is about learning how to get around the city with different transit/subway stations and more. Infact, our chef first interview as a Permanent Resident of Canada, she got lost learning to get around on her own. But eventually she learnt life in Toronto/Canada. She became a young mom at the time of her high-school graduation. Attended College, where she met her sweetheart husband Travis. Together with their daughter, they moved to beautiful Nanaimo British Columbia, where Travis pursued his degree in Tourism Management and Recreation. They got married July 2011, moved to Campbell river BC and managed a resort here outside of town for 13 years. December 2015, our chef proudly and gracefully receive her Canadian Citizenship, after being a permanent resident. To this day she is a proud Vincentian-Canadian Citizen🇻🇨🇨🇦

The resort has a commercial kitchen on site, preparing food for events happening at the resort, and our chef took over after original chef retired. Food is Cherry’s Passion, she live and breathe for food creativity. She believe that food is a story tell on a plate. By creating vibrant colourful decor and different delicious cuisines, with their authentic flavour and culture🌿

In October of 2022, they both thought it was time to move on from the resort, and start their own catering business together. It’s why Vicious and Delicious Catering is here. Serving this beautiful community and surrounding areas, since February of 2024, and we cannot thank you enough for your continued support. When you support a small business, you are supporting someone’s dream. Together with her husband, the slogan for V&D catering is “House-made with LOVE”. We strive to make all our freshly made goodies from scratch and with the freshest local ingredients. We love and appreciate you all and hope you are having a bright Sun-shiny day here in beautiful Campbell River. If your day is not as bright as the sun. This is Chef Cherry’s Family Sunday dinner, and weekend breakfast, lunch, and Friday night seafood dinner. In the Greco’s family household, Friday night dinners always have seafood as the main protein. It’s very good to mixed up your protein intake daily. AMAZING FLAVORS!!!!!!! I ordered the weekly meal delivery. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Easy to order. 5 meals delivered to my door for just under $100. They are packed beautifully and ready for the fridge or freezer. Cherry delivered them with a smile at the time I specified. It felt like a family member dropping off wonderful meals. This is a super service. I now have great meals ready for after work, no food waste and truly really good food. Thank you Cherry, I will be placing my order weekly. Your food is spectacular!

Hi Cherry and Travis,

Hope you guys had an amazing rest of your summer and hopefully get to have a nice bit of down time heading into the fall months!

As we settle back down into our normal routine again, we just wanted to say thank you so so much to you guys for putting on such a great spread of food for us on our wedding day it was so so perfect for us! It was absolutely everything we wanted it to be in our heads, and you helped bring our menu vision to life! It went off without a hitch, and we had so many compliments from people saying that the food was so incredible!! To be honest it was so good most people didn’t go for our giant slab wedding cake afterwards which is the sign of a great meal!!! 😂we had so many leftovers too we are still picking away at pieces of frozen stuffed chicken and meatballs out of our freezer which is always a bonus too!!

You guys were so lovely to communicate and work with, and the whole experience was flawless, right from the first tasting all the way up to the actual day. You guys were so amazing handling everything all on your own, and with everything else that goes on leading up to a wedding day we really appreciated everything you did for us! 😄

We will absolutely be recommending vicious delicious to anyone else we know getting married in the future! We also wanted to pass along some great photographs of the day as well 😁

“A harvest bowl is a hearty, nutrient-packed meal served in a single bowl that combines seasonal autumn produce, whole grains, proteins, and a flavorful dressing”😋

This is our chef second time making chicken harvest bowls for lunch, for a repeat corporate group. There were a few gluten free/no meat/no seafood options as well. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your two day event. It’s such an amazing feeling to be welcome back with open arms with familiar faces, along with good raves about our food to new attendees. Just recently, our chef was on her day-off at a local grocery store. One of the leaders of the group, called her name and give her a big hug, and introduce her to family members. Giving them positive feedback on our chef personality/vibrant energy/delicious foods.🌿

Sunday dinner is a traditional, large or small family meal shared on Sunday afternoons or evenings to connect with relatives and relax before the upcoming week. In other words, It’s a weekly de-stressor from the hustle and bustle of life during the week. A break from carpools, work, and homework. Sunday Meals usually feature comfort foods like a Sunday Roast;with beef, pork, or chicken, alongside potatoes, rice, vegetables and gravy🍗🥗
