Reposting from as this resonated so much. I have the privilege of being a part of many ceremonies. I’ve done this for 10 years now, and also am married for 10 years now. It is always so joyous. And each time I officiate, I feel like I went through a bit of a vow renewal myself. What a happy and fulfilling role, and how it enriches my life! I feel so lucky and grateful.

When your accountant, MHU Financial Services Inc., calls you to please come now and help his clients marry on their 21st anniversary together, I got it together quick and made it over. Hasib is the best. He provided the venue, and became impromptu witness, ringbearer, and photographer.

Hello!

My name is AyeChan, and I am an authorized Marriage Commissioner in Alberta. I’ve been marrying couples in Calgary and surrounding area since February 2015. At this time when I was initially appointed, I was a bride-to-be myself. I am a wife, and a mother. I am also a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I survive by coffee, and am all about comfort food.

I love heartfelt ceremonies, and huge expressions and emotions. It amazes and humbles me each time I am invited to join a couple on the most important day of their lives, as they celebrate their love and commitment. What a privilege to be asked to officiate the beginning of a beautiful life together!
