🌿 May looks a little different at The Limber Hollow — and we’re really grateful for it.

This month, we’re leaning into a stretch of private events, special bookings, and some much-needed time to reset behind the scenes. It’s a slower pace on the public side, but the room is still full in all the right ways.

We do have a few moments to gather —

Connor Grant’s EP release (presented by our friends ) kicks things off, followed by our Open Mic celebrating Bob Dylan “turning 85” — we won’t fact check it too hard. As always, intimate, intentional, and built for listening.

Later in the month, we welcome Proplesque, presented by The Rhinestone Affair a playful, high-energy burlesque show where props and improv take centre stage. Expect a night that’s cheeky, a little unpredictable, and a whole lot of fun.

The rest of May is dedicated to the people choosing to celebrate their own moments in the space — something we never take lightly.

Thanks for being part of this with us. We’ll be back with a fuller calendar soon — a little rested, and ready for it.

🎤OPEN MIC NIGHT: Somewhere Around 4.20
This Thursday at The Limber Hollow

So this month, we’re celebrating the music that’s come out of hazy hangs, late-night jams, and songs that maybe wouldn’t exist without a little herbal encouragement.

This week’s theme is Somewhere Around 4.20 - brought to you by our guest host this week ♥️ I'm afraid to ask how many songs he's knows that suit the bill 😅

Maybe it’s a song about w**d.
Maybe it’s a song that just sounds like it was written somewhere in that orbit.
Maybe it’s a groove that stretches a little longer than planned… or turns into something else entirely.

Old songs, new songs, deep cuts, unexpected covers — if it fits the vibe, it belongs here.

Last month we went Irish & Irish-adjacent, and had the absolute pleasure of local musician Irene Poole .b.poole joining us — one of those nights that reminded us how special this room can be. Here are a few clips from that!

Retro country and western swing influences meet fireside ballads. Her latest record The Fiddle & The Fire was named a Top 10 Country Album on Bandcamp and featured on CBC.

🌾 Leah Barley
Honest, emotionally rich songwriting rooted in alt-country, bluegrass, and folk — from boot-stompers to deeply personal ballads that linger long after the last chord.

🐦April is looking like a special one at The Limber Hollow!

We’re kicking things off with something a little different — a colourful, all-ages night Wiesinger Live bringing the WinTour Wonderland energy to the room. Then we settle into what we love most: intimate, intentional shows.

Follow the Flame returns for its 5th edition — 44 seats, 4 artists, 4 songs each. A quiet, focused listening experience that always feels a little bit magic.

We’re also welcoming Astral Swans with special guest Morgen Le Fae for an insightful night, plus a dual headlining show with Elise LeBlanc and Leah Barley that we’re especially excited about.

Our April Open Mic lands right where you’d expect… somewhere around 4:20. Interpret that however you like 🌿

And we close things out with the Garrett Barbuto Acoustic Trio and their Original Music Showcase — a night built around honest songs and strong performances.

As always, we’re a ticketed, listening-focused room — no walk-by crowd, just people who want to be there.

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, so this month we’re leaning a little toward Ireland.

This week’s theme is Irish & Irish-adjacent.

Maybe it’s a traditional tune.
Maybe it’s a pub song, a folk ballad, or something with that storytelling spirit.
Maybe it’s just a song that feels a little Celtic — wandering, heartfelt, a little wild.

Old songs, new songs, sea songs, rebel songs, drinking songs, heartbreak songs — if it fits the mood, it belongs here.
