To New Adventures and Old Memories.
Today we announce that 2025 will be our final event season at 117 8 Avenue SW, the place that we have called home since 2018. We understand that this news will come as a shock to many of our clients, colleagues and industry peers, however due to an expedited sale of the building and the new owners decision to utilize the property in a different way, we are closing our doors at the end of this holiday season.
Over the past 7 years we have shared a wide array of life’s most precious moments within these four walls. From weddings to anniversaries, concerts to art galleries, corporate parties to epic holiday events, The Pioneer has been a staple place to host on Stephen Avenue’s 100 Block West. For many of us it has been much more than a venue, it is the place we met loved ones, the place we’ve witnessed our friends get married, the birthplace of community passion and a vessel for so much fun and creativity.
Although this news is disappointing to share, it is with immense gratitude that we thank you Calgary, for being along for this journey. The love and support you have provided us will forever remain etched in our hearts.
For now we are working through the logistics of the remainder of the year, including celebrating the final events in this beautiful venue with our wonderful clients and community.
