The leaves are falling, and it’s the busiest time of year for family photographers..

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this beautiful family since their very first baby was born. Every year brings a new adventure with new giggles, new milestones, and a little more personality shining through each photo.

When working with kids, patience is everything. I never rush the process, because taking the time to let little ones warm up, explore, and get comfortable (sometimes even letting them ‘help’ with my camera!) is where the real magic happens.

That’s why I prefer to do full sessions and not to do mini sessions with small children. The best photos, the ones that truly capture who they are, come when we slow down, laugh together, and let their authentic joy unfold naturally. 💛

Every year with this family reminds me: these aren’t just photos, they’re chapters in their story.

✨Childhood is stitched together in moments just like this.. quiet wonder, tiny hands, patient waiting, and the magic of simply being side by side.

Watching through my lens (and through my heart), I can already feel how these little memories will be the big ones someday.

This is just a glimpse into the sweetest family session, and trust me… there’s so much more joy and love to share from this beautiful day by the water nestled in the beautiful Canadian Rockies ⛰️

thankful doesn’t even begin to cover it. every time a family calls me back to take photos of their not so little anymore cherubs, it’s more than a booking. it’s trust, it’s legacy, it’s being invited into the story again.

that s**t is dope 🤌🤌 and THAT is the greatest honor a photographer can be given. I love getting to see your bebes and families grow!
