🍂🎃🍂🎃🍂🎃🍂

Pumpkins, scavenger hunts, giveaways, and a little fall fun are coming to the neighbourhood! 🎃

On Saturday, October 10, Magdalena Cieslak and Sharon Roberts are hosting a Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt & Giveaway from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

Kids can search for mini pumpkins in Confederation Park, then bring them to the decoration station to get creative. There will also be a large pumpkin giveaway for your fall decorating, available on a first-come, first-served basis!

The event will take place at Confederation Park near the playground!

We'll move to the Mount Pleasant Community Hall if the weather doesn’t cooperate ☔

Fire crews are still on scene this morning at the Tuxedo Park School site. Please be cautious if you’re in the area and give them room to work. We don’t know the extent of the damage yet.

MPCA Jump into Fall 2026 is tomorrow, and the forecast looks perfect! 🌞

Join us on Saturday, September 19, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Community Hall for a celebration of the changing season, with friends, neighbours, music, food, and plenty of fun!

Live music starts at 4:00 PM, our signature Bike Parade heads out at 4:15 PM for a celebratory ride together, pizza from our friends at Mio Pizza arrives at 4:30 PM, and at 5:00 PM, our magician will have a few tricks up their sleeve.

There’s free face painting for the kids, a b**r garden for the grown-ups, and plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon together!

Come settle in, catch up with neighbours, enjoy the music, and make an afternoon of it.

We’re still looking for a few volunteers. If you have some spare time, we’d love to have you help out!

Our biggest community fundraiser is coming in Spring 2027, and we’re looking for an organized, enthusiastic volunteer to help make it happen 🎰

As Casino Chair, you’ll help coordinate volunteers, logistics and planning, with plenty of support from the TPCA Board along the way. The commitment is approximately 2 hours per month leading up to the event.

If you’re organized, community-minded and looking for a meaningful way to make a BIG impact, we’d love to hear from you! Reach out here or to Anne Johnson at [email protected] to learn more.
