ATTENTION CAMPERS 📣
Your resident party starter, Blake , is ready to raise hell at CAMP DEEPWOOD! 😈

Halloween is my favourite, and I’m pumped to heat up the dance floor! If you’ve partied with Detour before, you know what to expect: throwbacks, Halloween classics, pop and house remixes, and whatever else possesses me in the moment. 🎃🪩

Keep an eye out for me throughout the night. I’ll be prowling the crowd, looking for stylish victims for our costume contest. There’s a $250 CASH PRIZE up for grabs, so come dressed to kill. 🩸 🌲 🏕️

🔪 CAMP DEEPWOOD HAS A NEW HIDING PLACE…

Campers, there’s been a change to your October 31 check-in location!

With repairs at Rooftop taking longer than expected, we’re moving CAMP DEEPWOOD to its sister venue, Brix + Barrel , in the same building.

And this campsite comes with a little more darkness. 👀

Think a large, dark space, a big bar, and plenty of nooks and crannies to socialize, plot your escape, or hide from “the killer.” You’ve asked for a darker dance floor, and this setting is perfectly suited to our Halloween horror fantasy.

Pack your costumes and stick close to your fellow campers. We’ll see you at Brix + Barrel on Saturday, October 31.

New hiding place. Same deadly good party. 🏕️🔪

BACKDOOR CINEMA IS BACK! 🎬🩸

After a very long hiatus, We’re thrilled to announce the triumphant return of Backdoor Cinema!!
Halloween season feels like the perfect time to resurrect this project, and we’re kicking things off with the 2009 revenge horror-comedy JENNIFER’S BODY, starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried.

Written by Diablo Cody and directed by Karyn Kusama, Jennifer’s Body deserved better on its release.
The studio sold it to young men by leaning heavily into Megan Fox’s s*x appeal, burying the female perspective at the heart of the story. A film about female friendship, exploitation, objectification and rage became a sales pitch about how hot its star was. The message got lost in translation.

Dismissed and misunderstood in 2009, it has since found its audience and earned its place as a feminist cult classic. Funny, vicious and unapologetically angry, this is a film worth revisiting together.

In a world where women continue to face male violence, stories that centre their experiences and let them bite back feel especially relevant.

Join us at Globe Cinema, hosted by the ICONIC Zachary Parsons-Lozinski, for a bloody good return to the big screen.

📅 Wednesday, October 28
🕖 Doors at 6:30PM, show at 7pm
