We had the Edmonton group Twilight Time- a Tribute to The Platters and Doo-W*p at the BVMC on May 9th to close out the 2025 - 2026. It was a great tribute to the Doo W*p era and our audience really enjoyed the show. Here they are doing their name sake song "Twilight Time" by The Platters.

The Shaye Zadravec Trio do a version of "Angel of the Morning". A great song, also done by several performers, most notably Merilee Rush in 1968, and Juice Newton in 1981. The song was written by the late, great, Chip Taylor who also wrote "Wild Thing" Chip was no stranger to Calgary, and Shaye opened a show for him, that I attended, at the River Church. Chip also put Shaye's version of his song "I'll Carry for You" on his own album.

The Shaye Zadravec Trio were in to open the last show of the 2025 - 2026 season at the BVMC on Saturday, May 9th, 2026. Shaye is a fantastic interpreter of songs originally done by other people. Here she is doing her version of "Memories are Made of This". There are a lot of people who did this song, but I remember the Dean Martin version. The song was written by Terry Gilkyson (Father of Eliza Gilkyson), Richard Dehr, and Frank Miller.
