Hello everyone! We’d like to announce that Lavender Club will be going on hiatus until early 2027. It’s time for us to take a step back, rest, and reassess what Lavender Club will look like once we return. This means that our walking events for the remainder of the year are cancelled, including today's. We are grateful for all your support throughout the years; we look forward to seeing you all again soon!

🌸🌿 You are cordially invited to a Garden Picnic to celebrate Lavender Club’s 4th Anniversary! 🌿🌸

Bring your favorite blanket and activity of your choice to soak up the sunshine, and spend the afternoon surrounded by great company. We may even have a slice of cake and a few other treats with your name on it! 🎂✨

We also recognize that there are folks that are currently struggling as well. Amanda, one of our founding members, is Venezuelan. As part of this event we are also raising mutual aid funds to support community members back home who have been left houseless and/or in need of support following the devastating earthquakes that happened in Venezuela on June 24th. Direct monetary support is the best way to help during this crisis; the money raised will be redistributed directly to individuals, and transfer receipts will be posted on our account. If you’re unable to help at this time, please help us spread the word. We will be fundraising until the date of this event (July 25th 2026). Thank you!

UPDATED MEETING ADDRESS! Swipe/read below!

It’s baaack... Your favourite sapphic walking group! Throughout the spring, summer, and fall, Lavender Club will be taking a nice stroll near the river once a month, and we want you to come along!

UPDATED TIME AND MEET UP LOCATION! At 7pm, on the dates listed below, meet us at 305 9th Street near the Sunnyside C-Train station. There, as a group, we’ll decide which direction we want to head in. We’ll walk for approximately an hour - deciding as a group whether we want to end at the starting location or not.

We’ll always start walking at (around) 7:05pm, and the team will be there by (around) 6:45pm, so don’t be late, or you may be left behind!

Who knew Sunday morning coffee could be so sweet 🥮

Join us for a sapphic meet and greet at Nomi Cafe on Sunday April 19th from 9-11 AM for an easy low stakes hang

Feel free to bring something along to keep your hands busy 🧶 and we’ll bring some ice breaker questions to keep the conversations going

This is a free event, although we do encourage folks to purchase something from Nomi Cafe during our stay
