As August begins to come to a close, there is something especially beautiful about taking a moment to notice it all—the long evenings, the golden light, the full tables, the people gathered close.

There is something about August that makes us want to slow down.

To linger a little longer over dinner. To stay outside until the light begins to fade. To let conversations wander and for an ordinary evening to become one you wish you could hold onto just a little longer.

Maybe it’s the warmth of the days, the gardens in full bloom, or the quiet feeling that summer is asking us to savour it while it’s here.

August holds a special place in our hearts. A month that over the many years has seen so much love, joy and celebration for our family.

What happens when great people, beautiful weather, and a thoughtfully planned event come together? An unforgettable Family Fair.

We were thrilled to host Cachet Homes at Cambium Farms for a day dedicated to bringing employees and their families together. Nearly 200 guests spent the afternoon enjoying delicious food, interactive entertainment, games, and quality time in the countryside—all under clear blue skies.

From fresh coffee and sweet treats to photo booths, activities, and live entertainment, every detail was designed to create a relaxed and memorable experience for guests of all ages.

One of our favourite parts of hosting corporate events is seeing colleagues connect outside the workplace and watching families create lasting memories together. That’s exactly what this day was all about.

Thank you to the Cachet Homes team for trusting us with your annual Family Fair. We loved being part of such a special event and look forward to welcoming you back to the farm.
