✨ The Parol: Our Light Away From Home ✨

For every Filipino living far from home, the parol is more than a Christmas decoration, it’s a piece of the Philippines we hang on our walls.

Its light reminds us of family we miss, traditions we grew up with, and the warmth of Paskong Pinoy that no distance can erase.

Wherever we are in the world, the parol tells our hearts:
“Hindi ka nag-iisa. May tahanan kang uuwian.”

Saan ka man nakatira - sa bahay, apartment, basement o kwarto, let's hang our parol. Its our traditions, its our culture.

Maligayang Pasko, mga kababayan. May our parol shine bright enough to close the distance.

Decisions about the Filipino Cultural Centre should not be shaped by any developer’s agenda. This is Vancouver, where community priorities and public accountability must guide the process. Our City Councillors have a duty to act independently and in the best interest of the Filipino community and the city as a whole.
