HELICOPTER WEDDING:
At the top of a 4000 ft mountain, this couple said "I Do" after 3 years of changes, cancellations and Covid frustrations. I'm so proud of them and I am absolutely honored to have shared this experience with them.

I am missing Wedding Season this year.

Running through the check-list with 2 more sleeps left to go. Being greeted by the smell of fresh flowers and hand-crafted decorations at the venue. Hoping and wishing the Rehearsal was enough practice so the Wedding Party is not nervous. The extra attention Mother-of-the-Bride gave to her pretty hair style. The cuff links on the Best Man’s sleeves. Doing the final sound check so our honored Elder can hear her Granddaughter’s Vows. Anticipation building while Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” drifts across the ceremonial area as people take their seats.
A-h-h-h! Deep breaths.

We’ll drink up the ambiance together next year.

A COVID WEDDING
It's difficult to be grateful for Covid-19. It has turned our world upside-down - topsy-turvy. And yet, it has offered us a way to slow down just a little, to be with those who mean everything to us and to weigh out our priorities.

As mysterious and covert as this virus is, LOVE is stronger, more powerful and ever enduring. This couple found out that their true priority was to get married. Yes, they will celebrate with their friends and family later, but just for today they chose LOVE. (Her parents are on Skype)
