We have become aware of scammers impersonating TJ Fest staff, contacting vendors, and attempting to solicit payments. These communications are NOT from us. Please remain cautious and carefully review the guidelines below to protect yourself and others:
🔴 Identifying Official Communications:
All legitimate TJ Fest communications will ONLY be sent from email addresses ending with:
• .org
• .ca
🔴 Payment Security:
TJ Fest NEVER requests payments through personal or unofficial emails. Always verify the sender’s address carefully.
🔴 Verifying Suspicious Messages:
If you receive any suspicious communication:
• Do NOT reply or provide personal information.
• Immediately forward the message to [email protected] for verification.
🔴 Reporting Fraud:
Report any fraudulent activity promptly to your local law enforcement or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
We are actively cooperating with authorities and working diligently to protect our vendors and community. TJ Fest staff will monitor social media platforms and direct messages to answer your concerns promptly. Regular updates and scam prevention tips will be posted to keep everyone informed and safe.
