Amazing to see! We ❤️ volunteers!!

The Trent Lakes Public Library is extending a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated volunteers who run the Good Buy Room.

The fifteen volunteers play a vital role in sorting donations, organizing items, assisting customers, and creating a welcoming environment for shoppers. Their efforts not only help the store run smoothly but also generate important funds that directly support our library. The store is open Thursdays and Fridays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturdays 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Name that Tune - Trivia Night & Dance 🎶

Join us for a fun evening of music trivia, followed by a dance.

Trivia consists of 9 rounds of songs with 10 songs in each round.
Songs are cued up to specific, not obvious parts.
Takes approximately 2 hours.

Team sizes are best with 6-8 people per team, but can consist of any amount of 8 people or under.
Prefer to play solo, absolutely! Looking for a team? - we can place you in a team.
$20 per person.

Prize for the winning team.

Doors open at 6:00 pm, trivia starts at 7:00 pm sharp.

Dance to start around 9:00 pm and goes to approximately 11:00 pm.
Trivia not your thing, tickets are available for the dance only for $15 at the door.

Doors open at 8:45 pm for the dance. The dance is 2 hours long.

Cash bar.

Jen is self-taught artist based in Lakehurst, Ontario, working with oil, watercolour, and acrylic on a variety of surfaces. Her art is inspired by a love of animals and landscapes, bringing each subject to life with a personal touch. She also offers commissions, including custom pet portraits, creating meaningful pieces for each client.

As a retired Nana, Kathy has revised an old passion of photography. After many years away from the camera, her photography passion returned in showing her grandchildren the beauty seen around them and a great love to share the finds of her camera lens. From a colorful sunrise or sunset, to landscape of local areas, and wildlife stumbled upon, capturing the beauty seen and sharing it, is her goal.

Kathy has a true DIY personality and creates unique colouring pages, and gorgeous prints and all from her local photos.
