⚾️ What an incredible weekend!

A huge thank you to the Listowel Dodgers for inviting Pit & Platter to be part of the 4th Memorial Tournament. We truly appreciate the opportunity and all the hard work that went into organizing such a great event.

We’re all packed up and heading home after an amazing and successful weekend. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a smash burger, pulled pork, fresh-cut fries, loaded baked beans, walking tacos, hot dogs, and sausages on a bun. Your support means the world to us!

Who would have thought that a drive dropping Shannon’s mother off at a birthday party in London—and Shannon and I stopping for lunch with my father in Windsor —would be where the idea for Pit & Platter first began?

What started as a conversation over lunch and the following days and weeks has grown into something we could only dream about. We began by making homemade meals, then moved into catering, and now we’re serving from our very own food trailer.

This coming weekend, you’ll find us at the Listowel Dodgers Memorial Tournament and the Gorrie Co-Ed Tournament. We couldn’t be more excited to be serving at both events and to continue growing this dream.

Rain or shine, we’ll be there, ready to serve up some great food with a smile!

Pit & Platter Catering is getting ready for a busy weekend as we head to the Listowel Dodgers Baseball Tournament and the Gorrie Co-Ed Tournament!

Our food trailer will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner all weekend long in Listowel, so whether you’re an early riser, cheering from the stands, or looking for supper after the last game, we’ve got you covered.

What an incredible evening!

A huge thank you to Shawn Martin for inviting Pit & Platter to be part of Matt Metzger’s 40th birthday celebration. It was truly a pleasure and an honor to cook for everyone on such a special occasion.

We can’t thank everyone enough for the warm welcome, your kindness, and the amazing support you’ve shown our local food trailer. The smiles, conversations, and encouragement mean more to us than you know.

Steve, having spent so many years living in the city, is quickly discovering what a true small-town sense of community feels like. The way everyone comes together to support local businesses and one another is something really special, and we’re so grateful to be a part of it.

A very special thank you to Melissa for being the friendly face of our company while we were busy cooking. Your warm personality, welcoming smile, and willingness to help made a huge difference, and we truly appreciate everything you did to help make the evening such a success.

We hope everyone enjoyed their food as much as we enjoyed preparing and serving it. It was a pleasure to be part of your celebration, and we look forward to seeing everyone again in the future.
