I wanted to take a minute to give a little shoutout to some of the local businesses that I continue to support, and who have supported me along the way.

These are people I know, businesses I trust, and places I genuinely recommend. Some I've worked with, some I've become friends with, and some just happen to be responsible for my terrible spending habits.

But there's a reason I keep going back to them.

Running a small business is hard. I know that firsthand. And with the way the economy is right now, I think we all need to be looking out for each other a little more.

With the holidays coming up, I really want to encourage everyone to think about where they're spending their money. Before you order from Amazon or head to a big box store, see if someone in your community offers what you're looking for.

And supporting local doesn't always have to cost you anything. Leave a review. Share a post. Tag a friend. Tell someone about a business you love.

It all makes a difference.

The reality is, these businesses won't necessarily be here forever. And I don't want us to get to a point where we're saying how sad it is that another local business has closed, when we could have been supporting them while they were still here.

So here's a little love for some of the people who have made a difference to me and my business. Thank you for what you do, and for being part of our community.

Meet Mochi - Lexie’s cat and this week’s Employee of the Week! 🐄

Position: Senior Cow-ordinator
Department: Moo-d Management
Special Skills: Boosting team morale, keeping Lexie company during the workday, and absolutely committing to the dress code.

Mochi brings a calm presence, excellent supervisory skills, and, as you can see, takes seasonal workplace attire very seriously.

Congratulations, Mochi! Your hard work in keeping spirits high has officially been recognized.

From planning it on paper to watching it all come together.

Last weekend, OnCue had the opportunity to plan and coordinate our first wedding, and we're happy to say the day was a success!

There were timelines to manage, details to check, vendors to coordinate, last-minute adjustments to make, and plenty happening behind the scenes.

But that's exactly where we like to be.

Because while we're watching the clock and thinking three steps ahead, the couple should be focused on their people, their celebration, and actually enjoying the day they've been waiting for.

We're incredibly grateful to have been trusted with such an important occasion, and we're leaving wedding number one even more excited for the next.

And speaking of our next wedding, we have some exciting news!

We have ONE opening left in 2026 to take advantage of our special wedding day-of coordination promotion!
