I missed out on a lot of Pride festivities before leaving Ontario, so I was quite delighted to find out that Saint John Pride is in August!
In New Brunswick, the Pride committees all work together so that each city can celebrate without overlapping each other. I love this! Happy Pride for all! 🏳️‍🌈🫶

Had a few less than stellar comments lately from folks that are woefully uneducated. I am sure if they could read this they would be mad. For everyone else, here's a helpful little dose of cool information about the history of legalization of same-sex marriage in Canada. While our festival is 21 years old, our right to marry is still only 19!

A portion of pride is about remembering the road we travelled to get here, which involves a lot of sacrifice and protesting. We cannot forget that our rights are still new and fresh in the grand scheme of things and that we still have tons of work to do!

Make sure you join us for the 21st Annual Saint John Pride Parade on August 17th at 2pm. Line up between Union/St.Patrick St and the AREA 506 Waterfront Container Village and we'll see you there!

I'M BAAAACK!
Things have been pretty quiet for me as I was getting ready for a big move halfway across the country!
I've officially landed and settled in beautiful Saint John, New Brunswick and will be hosting the open mic this Thursday (and every Thursday this month) at the Saint John Night Market from 6pm - 9pm!
If you know anyone in the area that might want to come play some tunes, please share! 🫶

It's been a little quiet on my page as I've been so busy with the theatre shows, but as the gear down, it's time to gear up for Pride!!

On June 15th, we’ll have the amazing Pride in the Park in the afternoon AND we don’t want the fun to stop when the sun goes down — so Q***r Joy Events will be hosting the official Pride After Party Hudson Public in Brantford.

What’s included in your $25 ticket:

We're back at the Dog-Eared Café in beautiful Downtown Paris (Not That Paris) for a pre-St. Paddy's Day party 🍀🥳 The doors open at 7 and we start belting out tunes at 8!

Had a FANTASTIC time at Vinyl Night last night at Paris Pub! Great tunes and great vibes all around! Chatted with lots of new friends and even saw friends I hadn't seen in many years!
We celebrated women in music together, and if you missed it, stay tuned for a new Spotify playlist! ;)

Tonight I get some downtime to finally get out and visit Sassy Britches Brewing Co. Ltd, who have just opened this past week in the old Mash Paddle location on Sherwood Drive!
