✨🎪 CIRCUS SKILLS SUMMER CAMP!!! - Presented by RUMPLE & FRIENDS 🎪✨

Ever seen a Rumple show and thought to yourself… I could do that!… WELL NOW YOU CAN!!! 😃. Whether your kid is a natural-born performer or just looking to try something totally unique, we’ve got a spot under the big top just for them.

Learn from professional children’s entertainer and circus performer Scott Wilkins (AKA Rumple) and Build confidence, coordination and some seriously cool skills 💪 such as:
• Magic: Learn the art of deception with tricks to impress your friends 🪄
• Juggling: Master ball & scarf juggling, diabolo, and plate spinning. 🤹‍♂️
• Acro-balance: Think human pyramids and gravity defying balances. 🎪
• Clowning: Discover the art of physical comedy and stage presence. 🤡

The Grand Finale:
Every week ends with a Showcase Performance! Friends and family are invited to watch our campers debut their new talents in a spectacular live circus show. 🎭

📅 Dates: August 10th-14th (7-10yrs) & August 17th-21st (11+yrs)
⏰ Time: 9am-4pm (early/late drop-off/pick-up available)

O....k so how do I explain this one? 🤔

Our 3 drama classes had their end-of-term performances this week and each one showcased the amazing creativity, personality and downright ridiculousness of all those involved. I remind you - they did this. They created and performed each show themselves

1) Sock Wars - Episode V - The laundry pile stinks back
- a Star wars inspired sock puppet show finally solving the mystery of where all our missing socks go (tona.galaxynfar far away!)

2) Bunnies vs. Moon Ladybugs
- When ladybugs ascend on the earth from their home on the moon (who knew?!?) they steal the Bunnies favourite snack - their carrots! Only a rocket ship to the moon can retrieve them.

3) The Fruit Bowl
- In a world where countries are split by the fruits that live there, one lonely orange decides to bring everyone together for the Fruit Bowl - an epic olympic style tournament... But are his intentions as innocent as they first seem?

HUUUGE congratulations to all our performers. The shows were amazing but the hard work, teamwork, creativity and dedication along the way was what really impressed the most.

There must be something about the fresh air they breathe up north because these kids had lungs 🫁 of steel! They were LOUD, PROUD and SUPER FUN!!!

Some might say -16°c is too cold. Others might say 'stay home, wrap up warm - it's a tea & jammies type of day'
..NOT the good people of BEECHWOOD, WATERLOO!...

They said 'let's get outside', 'let's skate', 'let's play', 'let's watch award-winning entertainer Rumple delight us all...(I may have paraphrased!) - a real community coming together battling the conditions in the only way Canadians know how - with coffee, maple taffy and a sense of humour.

This was a fun one!

Super fun weekend of shows and events where I got to perform in homes, cuddle a baby goat, entertain kids at a ski resort, cuddle a baby goat oh and I almost forgot… CUDDLE A BABY GOAT!!!

Jolly Good Drama begins again JANUARY 21st!

And BTW, this is NOT your ordinary Theatre class. With over 20 years of PROFESSIONAL experience in children’s theatre to draw from, Director Scott uses creative play, improvisation and carefully curated dramatic processes to create a safe environment where kids are able to express themselves, build confidence and take creative risks in a safe and supportive environment. Through this process, we then create, develop, rehearse and perform our very own original piece of theatre. No two shows are EVER the same, but the amount of fun we have sure is!

Happy New Year Everybody!!!

With the holiday season over, Snotty the Elf has been sent back to the North Pole to cause the same amount of mischief, but further away from us until next year.

A huge circus-sized THANK YOU to everyone who supported Rumple in 2025. I've had the privilege (and it is a real privilege) to have been invited all over Ontario to bring joy and laughter to families, festivals and events. I got to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, cultural experiences and more with thousands upon thousands of people. I love it, am grateful for it and will continue to work hard in 2026 to bring smiles, amazement, giggles and belly laughs to as many people as possible.

Thank you everyone for allowing me to pay my bills by being silly - I still have to pinch myself sometimes!!!
