Back in May 2024, the village we reside in went into receivership. Our previous owners had defaulted on payments and the bank took control of the property.

Recivership is such a scary word.

The good news for us, the bank assured us that our business and events were safe — and they kept their word.

Last year, we had several potential owners walk-through our property as they toured the village. Most of them seemed pleasant, but we hit the jackpot with the group that ended up buying the village.

Ben & Olivia have done more down here in 5 weeks than previous ownership has done in 5 years — we’re so excited for the future of the village.

This is great for our business, but also for our neighbours and clients — to now have an ownership group who has a vision, a plan and are fully invested. Ben & Olivia are on-site and hands on.

We’ve had several discussions about the plans for down here — and we’re beyond excited.

Our clients who were nervous about the uncertainty of receivership — you can breathe easier now.

We’re not going anywhere — we never were 🙂

We’ve had over 150 people apply for our bartender / event staff position we posted about the other day.

First off, pretty cool that so many people want to join our team. Some very impressive cover letters and resumes.

WE'RE HIRING

We're looking to add to our team.

While we're looking for bar staff, we actually call all of our employees EVENT STAFF -- because everybody works together to make our events successful.

So, we'll post the roles and responsibilities -- and if you think you're a good fit, we invite you to apply.

Mix & Serve Drinks

You should know how to make all the basics. Extra bonus if you can make some fancy drinks too.

Clean, Stock & Prepare Bar

You'll get the bar ready for service -- at the end of the night, you'll restock the fridge so it's ready for the next event. We want the bar kept nice and clean before, during and after events.

Provide AMAZING Customer Service

We do a lot of weddings and special events. We're looking for staff who make our guests rave about how great they were treated. We're in the business of making memories -- we want you to be part of the story.

Be a Team Player

As mentioned above, we're ALL Event Staff -- everybody pitches in during our events. This means, we might ask for your help moving tables and chairs during flips, help clean up at 3AM when everybody wants to go home — whatever needs to be done, we all pitch in.

In exchange, you'll to get work with a fun team -- enjoy comedy shows, concerts and other celebrations. You'll see a lot of people getting married too.

We offer hourly pay plus tips.

A few things:
You’re experienced
You can work late hours
You're available weekends
You have a valid smart serve
You have reliable transportation
