Operated and maintained by a local group of volunteers, this facility has been hosting families and small corporate functions for almost 50 years. Whether it is a birthday party, wedding shower (even a wedding) or just a small group meeting the Pine Grove and Howell Community Centre is an ideal alternative from the expensive options in town. To get there follow Lynden Road East from the #403 and Garden Ave. Travel about three kilometres before coming across the sign out front on the right hand side. Hey everyone. We just wanted to let you know that effective January 1st, 2024 we need to increase our price by $10 to $150 for the day. This increase helps to cover rising costs and keep the hall clean and current. Our volunteers work tirelessly to look after things the best they can. That's how we have been able to keep the price down for so long. Please support us in 2024 with your rental.

Hi everyone. We just wanted to let you know that we we will be increasing our rental rate slightly for 2023. Effective January 1st 2023 or rate will move to be $140. For rentals until the end of the year its still $125.

Also new is a non refundable $25.00 deposit. Unfortunately, we've had too many people make a reservation and cancel at the last minute when others could have rented.

Hi everyone. It looks like we are getting closer to re-opening. We are working with the County to make sure the building is ready after being closed for almost two years. We are also trying to iron out the details of who is responsible for what in order to make sure we are responsibly following the rules we need to adhere to.

If you are interested in checking availability for a certain date, please call our booking number at 519-761-7587 and talk to Patti who handles the bookings for the hall. You might need to leave a message, but she will get back to you in a day or two.

Reopening Update from the County of Brant:
Looks like we are still closed until mid October. Under the current rules, if we do open we will still have capacity restrictions to up to 10 people. In addition, there will be some amendments coming to the rental agreement regarding Covid vaccination passports and the information required.
As a volunteer based organization our committee will do our best to keep you informed. 🙂

Hi everyone. We just wanted to let you know that we still do not have a reopening plan from the County yet. Unfortunately, as part of Step 3, the capacity limits for community halls remains unchanged. In order for us to be able to open, Ontario must be in the Roadmap Exit Step. In addition, we will need to allow time for water testing, which can take some time to get results back. We hope to have more of an update in mid September.

So we had an update from the County of Brant a few days ago about our reopening plan.
It seems they would like us to stay closed a little while longer until we get to step three of the re-opening plan. This could possibly be in September.
As a group of volunteers trying to keep things working, we really appreciate your patience in all of this.
