Emma & Colton came out to our acreage for maternity photos this fall, and my heart couldn’t be happier for these two.

I had the honour of photographing their engagement and wedding, and now getting to document this next little chapter of their story feels so special.

We wandered through our valley, finished up at the apple tree, visited the ponies and even caught the Harvest Moon along the way.

Celebrating The Van De Veldes with their people was way too much fun.

Beautiful bridal details, a first look in the wheat field where they would soon say I do, and a wedding day filled with love, laughter and happily ever after.

The kind of day that reminds me why I love what I do so much.

CHAPTER THREE 🎃💀❤️

Fall has officially arrived at the farmhouse.

And Gord and Gretchen could not be more excited.

One evening, they headed out to their pumpkin patch for a little autumn adventure.

They wandered through the pumpkins, picked a few favourites, and stopped for a few romantic moments along the way.

After all, a pumpkin patch is a pretty perfect place for a little romance. ❤️

As the evening settled in, they found a cozy spot, spread out a blanket, and curled up beneath the fall sky.

And of course, Grim was invited to join them. 🐾💀

The three of them snuggled up together, enjoying one of those quiet little moments that make fall at the farmhouse so special.

There are pumpkins to pick, leaves to crunch, cozy nights ahead, and plenty of adventures waiting around the corner.

And something tells me Gord and Gretchen may even be having some very special guests over at the farmhouse soon… 👀🎃

I wonder who could be coming?

It’s the first day of fall, so I better post some summer 🖤

This summer Britton reached out to me to photograph her growing family. I photographed their wedding 10 years ago, and when we realized we could make their session date their anniversary, it made it all that much more meaningful.

Ten years later, I was welcomed to their cottage to photograph their anniversary, maternity and family photos.

How sweet is that?

There is something so special about getting to photograph people through different seasons of their lives. To be trusted with these moments, to be invited back years later and to see how their story has grown since the last time I photographed them. What an honour.

When Britton emailed me this morning to say she couldn’t pick a favourite, neither could I.
