With a career spanning four decades, Valdy (aka Valdemar Horsdal) has been a cornerstone of Canadian pop and folk music. Known for his heartfelt narratives and warm stage presence, he’s the voice behind iconic tracks like *Play Me a Rock and Roll Song*. Winner of two Juno Awards and creator of four gold albums, Valdy's music has touched audiences from Newfoundland to New Zealand. His work has even been recorded by Quincy Jones and Steppenwolf’s John Kay. Valdy is not just a performer — he’s a storyteller, a traveler, and a musical magician.

Opening the show is Manitoba’s own Mitchell Makoons, a dynamic Roots/Rock artist whose songs blend traditional Ojibway influences with modern grooves.
