Ms. Sharayu Date
Sharayu is a mellifluous and versatile singer — a true musical prodigy. She received rigorous training in Hindustani Classical Music under the esteemed guidance of Vidushi Arati Anklikar-Tikekar and Vidushi Dr. Ashwini Bhide Deshpande. Taking the stage at the tender age of seven, she began her journey through regional music reality shows, quickly establishing herself as a rising star.
Sharayu has lent her voice to acclaimed Marathi blockbuster films such as Anandi Gopal, Ani… Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar, among others — performances that earned her numerous accolades. Her youthful charm and talent shone nationally when she appeared on the Hindi reality show The Voice, where she was mentored by renowned music director and composer Salim Merchant. This marked a significant milestone in her evolving musical journey.
Her original composition “Saiyaan Tori”, written, composed, and sung by herself, struck a powerful chord with both the music fraternity and audiences alike, earning widespread appreciation. Among her many honors, she has been nominated for the prestigious Filmfare Award for Best Playback Singer — a testament to her growing impact in the Indian music industry.
