I am here for all the chokers and apparently so are you as I made 15 of these chokers this weekend!! 1782 individual 4mm Swarovski pearls hand strung onto strands of silk thread, not going to lie, my hands are a little tired today! (Check out my stories to see them all!)

Our Sylvie choker has definitely been a best seller this season! Thank you for all of your support!

As Millennial business owners (heck, as Millennials in general), we always want to only show the pretty pretty. The perfectly staged moments, the immaculate workspaces and the gorgeously edited images. It's pretty much in our DNA, which is funny since we are the skeptical generation and question everything, but when it comes to ourselves, everything has to be perfect.

We all know that isn't true. There is so much mess that goes on behind the scenes of a small business that no one ever sees. This week was a doozy of a week for this small business. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong and I ended off the work week on Friday having to recut 7 veils (dont ask). Earlier this week I was at a particular low point. I put down my tools (and tulle) and told Kyle that we just needed to go to Swiss Chalet for chicken and cheap wine because nothing cheers me up faster than Canadian comfort food.

To all the small businesses owners out there doing everything, I see you, to those navigating shipping issues, supplier issues, tariffs and new trade legislations, I am right there with you and to those just getting through day by day I feel you, and remember, when the going gets tough, there is always chicken and wine!

Our Sylvie choker has been the breakout star of the 2026 wedding season! I have made so many of these beautiful necklaces that I have lost count, and our newest retailer in Tennessee just purchased 10 more so I am going to be busy busy making many more of these beautiful chokers this month!

I created this choker originally for the gorgeous Gather retreat, hosted by photographer Alix Gould (which I have been so honored to have been a part of for the last 5 years). When I saw the inspiration for the shoot and the gowns, I just knew that a delicate pearl choker was the perfect accessory!

I've been quietly (not so quietly) singing the praises of the mini veil and it being the IT Veil for 2026 and I'm still holding onto that fact considering how many birdcage veils y'all have ordered this season! 😮

This weekend Emma Roberts solidified the mini veil as being the veil of the season when she was married on the sweetest lace trimmed violette veil by Monique Lhuillier.

One of my new favourites from my collection and coming to the website this week is the Xian veil, (named after our gorgeous model who debuted this veil). This mini tulle veil is the perfect mini veil for an updo as it has 3 combs that pin into the hair and perfectly frames the face (and how cute is the veil when flipped back?!)

It's been awhile since I've introduced myself and I have a lot of new followers around here thanks to a certain veil reel that went a tad viral so I thought I would say hi to everyone and introduce myself!

Hi! I'm Blair, the designer and maker behind Blair Nadeau Bridal. Everything you see on my feed and in my shops are handmade with these two little (and very tired, this season has been one for the books!) hands. I believe in slow fashion and in enjoying and perfecting the details.

Every design is made to order. Each fabric, bead, crystal and trim is selected with a purpose and sourced from the world over to create your veils and accessories. Sourcing is one of my favourite tasks. I love challenging myself to find something new and unique to add to my designs. There is a secret thrill that I have if I'm looking for something specific and I finally find it!

I have a degree in fashion design, certification in textiles and surface design and worked in the apparel industry as a product developer for 12 years before turning my dream into a full time reality! This fall marks my 18th year of doing what I love!
