Hi, I’m Michelle — the heart behind Behind The Glass 🍸

I’ve spent the last 8+ years working in the wedding and events industry, helping couples celebrate some of the most meaningful days of their lives. From intimate backyard weddings to large-scale venue celebrations, I’ve had the privilege of serving hundreds of couples across Ontario and no two events have ever been the same.

Over the years, I’ve learned how to stay calm when timelines shift, weather changes, or plans pivot at the last minute. I understand how a wedding day truly flows, and I work closely with planners, photographers, caterers, and venues to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes so couples can relax and be fully present.

Behind The Glass has grown into more than just bartending. What started as a passion for service has evolved into:

✨ A beautiful mobile bar experience
✨ Day-of wedding coordination
✨ Custom bachelorettes, fundraisers & creative events

What many people don’t know is that this business was built during a season of life that required flexibility and resilience. I’m a full time stay-at-home mom, and I started Behind The Glass after the birth of my daughter, who is medically fragile and has additional needs. Building a business around my family taught me patience, adaptability, and how important it is to show up fully for the people who are trusting you with their most important moments.

I built this business around my family and that perspective has shaped how deeply I care for the people I serve.

Did you know our cocktails are truly farm-to-bar? 🌸🍓

We bring home-grown, organic edible flowers straight from our garden in the Holland Marsh of Bradford to garnish your wedding cocktails & Decorate your bar — grown with love, not shipped in.

Our fresh mint varieties (chocolate mint, pineapple mint, strawberry mint, orange mint & classic monito mint) are all home-grown by me, then muddled and served fresh at your event.

Our house-made simple syrups are handcrafted using fruits we grow ourselves — including cherries, watermelon, strawberries, raspberries & grapes.
Dont forgot our lavender & Rose simple syrups too!
And when it’s something we don’t grow personally, we proudly source locally from Bradford & Holland Marsh farms that are locally owned and operated.
