Aura Rosa Florals

This flowering life has done so much for my soul.

Some days are like a dream.

People always talk about my job as if I get to just twirl around in a field of flowers, surrounded by abundance and beauty. Some days, like today, I do.

But there are endless uncomfortable months of grit, exhaustion, and overwhelm to get the field like this.

There are weddings and events that require a huge amount of focus, skill, and just pure determination to get a massive list of things made in an extremely short period of time.

I always tell people it’s just a very extreme job. Extreme and beauty. Extreme in exhaustion. Extreme in abundance. Extreme in uncomfortability. There are days where my body is so beat up from getting to this point.

But then there is days like today. Effortless. Magical. Free. Sitting in my flower field, designing with everything around me, including my heart.

Easy, breezy, and wonderful like lemonade.
