Somewhere in the middle of the last three weeks, while pulling off 13 events, our anniversary quietly slipped by without a post.

This year marks 20 years of marriage and 24 years together for us.

Building a business like Pure Creations Events & Design isn't something you do alone. Behind every late-night setup, early-morning pickup, last-minute problem, and crazy event season is a spouse who supports the dream right alongside you.

My husband isn't just my biggest supporter. He's also the world's most dedicated secret unpaid employee. 🤣 From hauling décor and moving furniture to helping solve whatever challenge the day throws at us, there are countless things that simply wouldn't get done without him.

But beyond all of that, he's my best friend, my safe place, my voice of reason, and my biggest cheerleader.
As we spend our weekends celebrating so many incredible couples, my hope is that each and every one of them finds the kind of lasting partnership we've been lucky enough to build together. A relationship filled with love, laughter, respect, teamwork, and the ability to weather every season life throws your way.

Happy Anniversary to my everything. Here's to 24 amazing years together and 20 years of marriage. ❤️

We're looking for individuals who are:
✔ Reliable and dependable
✔ Flexible with scheduling
✔ Available to work both weekdays and weekends
✔ Able to lift and move décor, rentals, and event equipment
✔ Positive, professional, and team-oriented
✔ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
✔ Detail-oriented and willing to jump in wherever needed

Job Duties May Include:
🌿 Event preparation in our warehouse/showroom
🎈 Event setup and decorating
🪑 Loading and unloading rentals and décor
✨ Event-day assistance and coordination support
📦 Event takedown and inventory organization
🚚 Delivery assistance and general event support

What You Should Know:
• Hours will vary depending on event schedules and seasonality
• Early mornings, evenings, and weekends may be required
• Every day is different, and no two events are the same!
• This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of creating memorable events.

Two weeks. Eight events. Countless truckloads, setups, tear downs, laughs, and a whole lot of teamwork.

From beautiful wedding days, to a Chamber event, to helping celebrate a graduation, the last two weeks have been a whirlwind and we wouldn't have it any other way.

The biggest shout-out goes to our incredible team. They spent the weekend working through a relentless downpour and never missed a beat. Soaked? Yes. Complaining? Not a chance. They showed up, worked hard, and made sure every event looked amazing despite what Mother Nature had planned.

Now we're catching our breath for approximately 12 minutes before heading into another busy weekend with SIX more events on the calendar.

If you happen to see a Pure Creations crew member out and about this week, feel free to wave... or better yet, bring coffee. We run on creativity, determination, and a questionable amount of caffeine this time of year.

We absolutely love this Board and everything they stand for. Helping them raise money for such a good cause warms our hearts.

We were proud to support the Oilmen’s Lobsterfest this past weekend with an in-kind sponsorship of our farm tables for their sponsor spaces, along with providing dishware, plates, cutlery, and wine glasses for the evening.

It was great to see everything come together and the tables being used exactly as intended—creating a welcoming space for guests and sponsors to gather and enjoy the night.

The event itself was fully organized by an incredible team of volunteers and vendors, and we’re grateful to have been able to contribute in a small but meaningful way.
A wonderful evening of connection, generosity, and community support.

Last weekend we had the pleasure of transforming the hub at BCHS for the musical’s intermission space with a fun fairytale-meets-Britney theme.

As an in-kind sponsor, we were honoured to donate a custom storybook photo backdrop along with whimsical centerpiece boxes featuring disco balls, moss, lighting, vines, and florals to help bring the space to life.

We love supporting local schools, arts and creativity in our community, and this one was such a fun setup to create. Thank you BCHS for having us be part of the magic!

It’s taken me a minute to come down from the high of this one… what a night. ✨

First, thank you. Truly. To an incredible board that not only entertains my “what if we tried this…” ideas...but actually says YES and runs with them. From a full-on Happy Days–inspired moment starring the board to Ron the Chair launching out of a giant cake (still not over it), you trusted the vision and let us bring it to life in the most fun, over-the-top way. That kind of trust? It means everything.

And then there are the vendors… the ones who don’t just understand the vision, they cannonball straight into the deep end of it with me. 🤍

⚪️Production World, you worked your magic (those last-minute twinkle lights turning the space into a dreamy drive-in? unreal).
⚪️PS Catering, you nailed every detail—those mini milkshakes were a hit.
⚪️From the charm of the barbershop quartet to the energy of the Roller Haus ladies, every extra touch layered onto the night made it something truly special.
⚪️And The Bromantics… you absolutely blew the roof off.

To everyone who attended—St. Paul, you showed up in the biggest way. The energy, the generosity, the spirit… it was something powerful. You helped make a real impact in your community, and we are so grateful to have been a part of it.
