With the new U.S. tariffs coming into effect, there’s been a lot of talk about supporting Canadian-made products. But it’s not always as simple as just shopping at a “local” store—many are still part of larger corporate chains that are 🇺🇲, meaning your money ultimately goes to big CEOs rather than staying in the community.

So, how are you making your shopping decisions? Are you focusing on truly local businesses, or are you finding it tough to stick to Canadian-made products? Have you noticed any changes in prices or availability?

I know many of us started shopping 🇨🇦🇨🇦 awhile ago,and it's amazing to see consumer's reading the packaging of products,and huge bonus points for local stores showcasing our Canadian Products.

Hey Sunni Daze family!

I wanted to take a moment to share something exciting that I’ve been working on. As many of you know, I created Timba’s Fan Page about 10 years ago to highlight local rescues, animal adoptions, and important events in our community. While I love what both Sunni DaZe Promotions and Timba’s Fan Page represent, I’ve been thinking about combining the two to make an even bigger impact!

Since SDP allows me to reach more people and has different rules as a page (versus a group), it makes sense to bring everything together under one strong and connected platform. My goal is to showcase local rescues, small businesses, and non-profits, helping to spread awareness and support for all the great work happening in our area and so much more.

I’ve been playing around with some name ideas, and one that I keep coming back to is:
✨ Timba’s Sunni Legacy ✨

🌟Finding Light in the Journey 🌟

It’s been a month since Danny’s fluke accident at the dog park, leaving him with his right ankle broke in 3 spots,and while the road to recovery has been challenging, it’s also been a lesson in patience, compassion, and resilience. Healing—whether it’s physical, emotional, or even professional—takes time, and it’s rarely a straight path.

Right now, life is pulling me in many directions, and I’m finding it difficult to give Sunni DaZe Promotions the focus and care it truly deserves, but I'm still here behind the scenes. But just like Danny’s recovery, I’m learning that it’s okay to slow down, take things one step at a time, and trust the process.

Thank you all for your understanding, your support, and your patience. Every like, comment, and message means so much during this season of slowing down and healing.

Here’s to moving forward with kindness—for ourselves and for others.
