Train Acres wishes everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2026. We are all looking forward to seeing you all at our 2026 Children’s Hospital fund raising event on September 12 and 13th.

Just kept on going forward and completed another 5 ride astride passenger cars after building the three seater. Going by the response during our last September fund raising event more passenger riding capacity will be required in 2026.
During my last car building spree about 5 years ago I had built a couple stacks of two axle passenger car trucks and welded up 11 car bodies. Five of those have carried riders since then so, during the last three weeks or so, I completed the balance of six more. Now on to the next project that’s been on my mind for some time.

We’re very pleased to announce our total raised over the the weekend for the two Alberta Children’s Hospitals. It is $21306.40 in donations and tickets sales. Thanks to our volunteers for making our first annual fundraiser a success. Thank you to the public for your support. Preparations have already started for next year.

Not just trains out here today. The Piston Poppers from Ponoka joined us with a wonderful display.
