For more than 𝟒𝟎 years, our family has proudly served Belmont and surrounding communities through Belmont Town Restaurant & Catering.

What began and continues with our dad, Paul, continues today as a family business built around thousands of celebrations, community events and milestones. We are incredibly grateful for the community that has supported us along the way.

𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴!🤍

Our family is currently working through the approval process for a proposed 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁! Once a cherished six-acre hobby farm passed down through generations from the previous owner, we feel fortunate to carry the property into its next chapter. This is not an ending of what currently operates, but a hopeful expansion for our future.

Our vision is to create a beautiful, welcoming space for:

• Weddings & celebrations
• Community gatherings
• Business & corporate events
• Agricultural & grower meetings
• Special events & milestones
But our hope for this project goes far beyond simply building a venue.

Every event brings people into our area who need 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥, 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲, 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫, 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. We believe this venue could create new opportunities small businesses throughout our community.

Through our travelling catering business, we see firsthand how often local families leave Elgin County to host weddings and events because of limited venue options. Our intention is to provide a space that thrives within a rural setting, offering a unique place for people to gather while celebrating the agricultural character, natural beauty, and local community that make Elgin County & this extremely unique property special.

These letters are especially important because they can help demonstrate that the benefits of this project extend beyond our family and show the potential impact it could have on the 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

A beautiful day celebrating V + B. 🤍✨

A few moments from such a perfect day.

Guests were welcomed to cocktail hour with on site BBQ’d stationed chicken & pork souvlaki alongside our signature charcuterie cones, while passed hors d’oeuvres featured flaky vol au vent filled with a creamy spinach & feta dip, jumbo shrimp cups, and refreshing crostinis.

Dinner began with a beautiful seasonal salad featuring locally grown strawberries and fresh berries, followed by a family style feast of smoked prime rib, Mediterranean stuffed chicken, roasted potatoes, and seasonal vegetables.

Thank you, Victoria & Blake, for allowing us to be part of such a special celebration. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness. 🤍

Might be one of our favourite spreads yet. ✨ Charcuterie cones, seasonal crostinis, fresh fruit and veggie platters, plus a crowd fav; meatballs. It was a hot summer day, and this menu was the perfect mix of fresh, light bites to keep guests satisfied and cool!

We love incorporating elements from the reception into the cocktail hour. Matching florals, linens, and décor creates a seamless flow and elevates the entire presentation. ✨

Working with B + E was truly amazing from a great team of vendors to the couple and their families. Such a perfect day!

Before the awards, the catering events, the thousands of meals served, and the 40 years in business, he was simply Dad.

The man who taught us that hard work matters, that quality should never be compromised, and that food is one of the greatest ways to bring people together.

Today, many know him as “The Greek”, an award winning caterer, a talented cook, and the heart behind Belmont Town Restaurant & Catering. We know him as the father who built something special from the ground up and showed us what dedication, passion, and perseverance look like every day.

For 40 years, his food has brought people together around tables, celebrations, weddings, family gatherings, good times and bad. His recipes, work ethic, and commitment to excellence have earned countless awards, but his greatest achievement will always be the family he built along the way.

Happy Father’s Day to the man behind it all. We are proud to call you Dad. ❤️

A little feel good moment we wanted to share. 🤍

As a family run and family focused business, moments like this remind us how grateful we are for the community that surrounds us. From our staff, to our loyal customers, Belmont has always been built on connection, kindness, and people coming together around a table.

We know our Sunday Buffet can get busy at times. Between the full dining room, the small walkway to the buffet, finding tables, and occasionally sharing larger tables between groups, we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support during the rush.

Yesterday, something happened that reminded us exactly why we love what we do.

A couple who was seated at a shared table quietly paid for the breakfast of a gentleman dining alone beside them. They had never met him before, but simply felt moved to do something kind.

When the gentleman came to pay, we let him know his meal had already been taken care of. He stood there speechless for a moment and simply said, “oh wow….but I didn’t even know them.”

In a world that can feel so fast paced sometimes, moments like this remind us how much kindness still exists around us every single day. We are so grateful to witness these little acts of generosity and to have customers who make our restaurant feel like so much more than just a place to eat.

For over 40 years, our motto as a family run business has always been simple: treat our customers like family. Moments like this remind us that kindness truly comes full circle, and that there is still so much good in the world around us. 🤍

Thank you to everyone who supports us, shows patience during our busy Sundays, and fill our little restaurant with warmth, understanding, and kindness. It never goes unnoticed, and it is something our “BTR” family will always be grateful for.
