Looking for a fun and creative way to spend an afternoon? Join us for Keepsake Decorating! 💕🖌️

📍 BBRLC Youth Centre

Bring your own box and we’ll provide all the decorations and supplies you need to create a keepsake that’s uniquely yours! 🎀✨

🎓 Are you a high school senior? This would be the perfect opportunity to create your very own Senior Keepsake Box to fill with memories, photos, notes, and special mementos from your final year! 💙

⚠️ We need a minimum of 10 participants for this event to go ahead, so be sure to register and grab your spot!

Come hang out, get creative, and make something you’ll want to keep! 💖

Last night was amazing!

We had great weather, the JPMF park was filled with kids running around and laughing, some rolling down the banks, great music, BBQ, bonfires and fireworks! It was such a great turn out!

We would like to reiterate the thank-yous that the Town of Bay Bulls mentioned in their post below! To Miss Sarah, Foodland, Gerry Williams, Liam Maher, David Aylward… thank you for making this such a great event! We couldn’t have done it with out you!

To our friends at the Town of Bay Bulls, it’s always a pleasure when we get to do these events together!

Thank you all for attending! We can’t wait for next year.

P.s. We’ve already noted that the fireworks display needs to be put off just a litter earlier 😉

🐟 THE COD FISH BATTLES ARE BACK FOR 2026! 🍟

We’re excited to announce the return of the Cod Fish Battles, happening October 1–31, 2026! 🎉

The Cod Fish Battle is an expansion of the two successful “Fish-n-Chips Battles” hosted in 2024 and 2025. The event aims to bring participating restaurants from around the Irish Loop together for a friendly competition, while encouraging residents and visitors to support local businesses and increase restaurant traffic and revenue.

Throughout the battle, residents and visitors are encouraged to visit participating restaurants, try their featured cod dish, and cast their vote for their favorite. Ultimately, the competition will determine who serves the best cod fish meal on the Irish Loop!

We already have some fantastic restaurants on board, and we’re looking to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever!

🍽️ Are you a restaurant along the Irish Loop? We want you to be part of it!

The Cod Fish Battles are a celebration of local food, local talent, and the incredible restaurants that make our communities special. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you throw your hat in the ring! 🐟

Let’s showcase the best cod dishes the Irish Loop has to offer and give people another reason to get out and eat local! ❤️
