We'd love to hear from everyone who attended the True North BBQ Bash!

So far, we haven't received a lot of feedback, and your input is incredibly important to us. Whether you came for the BBQ, the competitions, the live music, the vendors, the car and motorcycle shows, or simply to enjoy a great day with family and friends, we'd like to know about your experience.

We're already looking ahead to next year, and your comments and suggestions will help shape the future of the event. We'd love to know:

* What you enjoyed most.
* What could be improved.
* What you'd like to see added next year.
* Any ideas that would make the event even more enjoyable for competitors, vendors, volunteers, and spectators.

We've been reading through all of the feedback and reviews from the True North BBQ Bash, and first of all, thank you! We truly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts with us.

One of the biggest pieces of feedback we've seen is the disappointment that there wasn't more competition BBQ available to purchase.

We'd like to provide a little clarity on why that was the case.

Our competition teams traveled from all over Ontario, other provinces, and even the United States and Panama to compete. While they were cooking incredible barbecue, the vast majority of these teams were not approved by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit to operate as food vendors. Because of health regulations, competition teams cannot simply sell the food they are preparing unless they have gone through the proper vendor approval process.

The teams that were serving BBQ throughout the weekend were local teams that had already received the necessary approvals from the Health Unit to operate as food vendors.

We completely understand why so many people were hoping to sample BBQ from every team—that's something we'd love to see too! As we continue planning for future events, we'll be looking at ways to expand the number of approved BBQ vendors while ensuring we meet all health and safety requirements.

Thank you again to everyone who attended, competed, volunteered, sponsored, and shared feedback. Your comments help us make the True North BBQ Bash bigger and better each year, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back next year!

What an incredible weekend!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported the True North BBQ Bash. Whether you competed, volunteered, sponsored, entertained, set up as a vendor, showcased a vehicle, or simply came to enjoy the festivities with family and friends, you helped make this event a tremendous success.

Our goal was to create a weekend filled with great family fun, amazing BBQ, and a welcoming community atmosphere—and thanks to all of you, that's exactly what happened. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the food, the entertainment, the competitions, and everything else the weekend had to offer.
