🚨 BOOKING UPDATE 🚨

What an absolutely incredible journey this has been. We are officially no longer accepting bookings for 2026 weddings through Joyful Receptions! ❤️

To say we are grateful would be an understatement. Every couple that has trusted us to be part of such an important day in their lives means the world to us, and the support over the last few years has honestly been overwhelming in the best possible way.

2027 is already sitting at roughly 50% booked, so if you are planning a wedding and are interested in Officiant, DJ or All-Inclusive packages, now is definitely the time to reach out and start the conversation!

Whether it’s telling your love story during the ceremony, packing the dance floor all night long, or combining both into one seamless experience, we can’t wait to keep creating unforgettable wedding days with all of you.

Also, while we have already had some inquiries, 2028 books are NOT officially open yet. We will absolutely make an announcement once those dates officially become available! 🎉

Last weekend I also had the pleasure of DJing for Kobe and Rachael as everyone there celebrated the introduction of the Robinsons!! This was another very special one as I did the wedding for Rachael’s sister Christy in the fall which was an amazing time and let me get to know them even more before their big day! It also was a blast to the past for me as Rachael’s dad was my fourth grade teacher! I loved the way that the families celebrated these two all the way until their grand exit at Tangle Creek!!

And then the weekend continued on Saturday afternoon when I got to marry Joel and Meghan, now Mr and Mrs Wright! Who had a beautiful ceremony at The Manor Event Venue surrounded by so many of their loving friends and family and of course their son Walker who truly means the world to these two as they took their family into its next chapter! I’ve known Joel for 10+ years after originally meeting him and his family through my time with the Barrie Lakeshore’s Junior A lacrosse team and it was really special to do this for someone I’ve known for so long

Started off the weekend on Friday by marrying Kaitlyn and Sean, now Mr and Mrs Bunjevcevich, in a beautiful Ceremony at the Bradford Barn. These two were such a joy to be around and both of their vows were beautiful with Kaitlyn’s specifically mentioning a different way to look at the phrase “I love you more” that made my heart happy ❤️

September 27th and another unforgettable celebration 🤍

Michelle & Brian, Mr. and Mrs. Clark, at Ascott Parc Event Centre. I had the honour of being both their officiant and DJ for such an amazing day.

What made this one even more special was that this was the second wedding I’ve had the chance to do for this family. Being trusted again for another huge moment means so much and is something I never take for granted.

A beautiful ceremony, an incredible atmosphere, and a dance floor that kept going all night long. Such a fun celebration for an awesome couple 🥂🎶

September 21st and another absolute beauty 🤍

Madison & Colin Munns at Glen Oro Farm. I had the pleasure of being their DJ for a day that was as stunning as it was unique.

An incredibly beautiful forest ceremony set the tone, followed by cocktail hour at the Ranger Cabin, and then into the gorgeous reception tent where the celebration really came to life.

(Even though we didn’t get to hear the Stone Cold Steve Austin theme at the grand entrance 😂)

Everything about this day just felt special. From the setting to the energy, it was such a fun one to be a part of. So happy for Madison & Colin 🥂🎶

September 20th and another amazing celebration 🤍

Emily & Clayton, Mr. and Mrs. Hie, at Tangle Creek. I had the honour of officiating their ceremony and then keeping the celebration going as their DJ for the night.

Such a beautiful day from start to finish with an awesome group that brought great energy right from the beginning. The kind of wedding where everything just clicks.

September 19th and such a special one 🤍

Taryn & Darren at Carleton Valley Estate. A beautiful ceremony under the stunning willow tree on the property that I had the honour of officiating.

From there, we made our way into the barn where I took over as DJ and the celebration really came to life. Amazing energy, an incredible couple, and a room full of people ready to celebrate them all night.

From a picture perfect ceremony to a packed dance floor, this day had it all. So happy for Taryn & Darren 🥂🎶
