Dig Plant Love Sandra - Garden Coach & Flower Creative

🌸 Helping busy women grow beautiful food & flower gardens
🌱Simple guidance. No overwhelm.
📍Montreal - Ottawa Sandra

I've always been in love with gardening, from my summers spent in my family's garden to the open-air markets in Europe, surrounded by beautiful flowers and seasonal vegetables. This passion continues with my current garden at home in Montreal (now with a few little human seedlings of my own to help carry on the tradition). Fortunately, I've always found a mentor, a kind of gardening sherpa, to hel

p me blossom (pun intended) as a gardener. I add to their wisdom through endless gardening books and note-taking, and I'm always keeping my eyes open for new inspiration. With Dig Plant Love I’m hoping to create a space and a feeling of community to support and to inspire anyone who’s interested in gardening. You might be a newcomer who doesn't know where to start, or a seasoned enthusiast who’s always looking for some new ideas. In any case, I'd like to invite you to plant yourself here.

August lushness and abundance. Honestly, I don’t even manage to take photos of the fresh produce before it makes its way into jars or the freezer — all thanks to my amazing Mom. She’s my garden and preserving fairy while summer is flying by with all its beauty and intensity.

So much to be grateful for. Every single day. ❤️

The other day I was complaining to my mom that my cucumbers just weren’t producing… and that the cucumber beetles were having a feast (which they absolutely are! 😅).

Well, last night I went out to check on them, and I swear they must have heard me.

They were basically like, “Hold my beer.” 😂

Two big bowls of cucumbers later… I’d say they proved me wrong! 🥒💚

Gardening has a funny way of testing your patience… and then rewarding you all at once. 🌱

Yesterday, I picked a bouquet just for myself.

There’s something so special about walking into the garden with a pair of snips and coming back with flowers for the kitchen table. It never gets old.

I feel incredibly grateful that I can grow my own food and flowers and that I get to share a little of that beauty with you. 💐

Anemone harvest this morning. This could easily be a bridal bouquet! Perfect as is.
