https://forms.gle/q5pAvchnaVqgKQ8d6 I've always been in love with gardening, from my summers spent in my family's garden to the open-air markets in Europe, surrounded by beautiful flowers and seasonal vegetables. This passion continues with my current garden at home in Montreal (now with a few little human seedlings of my own to help carry on the tradition). Fortunately, I've always found a mentor, a kind of gardening sherpa, to help me blossom (pun intended) as a gardener. I add to their wisdom through endless gardening books and note-taking, and I'm always keeping my eyes open for new inspiration. With Dig Plant Love I’m hoping to create a space and a feeling of community to support and to inspire anyone who’s interested in gardening. You might be a newcomer who doesn't know where to start, or a seasoned enthusiast who’s always looking for some new ideas. In any case, I'd like to invite you to plant yourself here.

Here’s some beauty for the cold and dark fall day.

My lovely community, thank you SO much for all your pumpkin orders! 🧡

They flew out so fast that I barely had a chance to take photos of most of them!

And a special thank you to everyone sharing photos of my pumpkins in your homes. I absolutely love seeing where they end up and how you style them! 🥰

A little heartbreak every season…

Every single flower and pumpkin was grown right here in my garden — from seed, organically and with love. 🤍

Floral pumpkins are still available for Thanksgiving. 🍂🎃

“A year later and my pumpkin is still looking good, btw.” 🎃 A message from a client yesterday — and amazingly, it’s not the first time I’ve heard this.

Now, I definitely won’t guarantee a one-year shelf life for every floral pumpkin 😄, but I’ve had more than a few make it all the way to the next Thanksgiving.

This year’s floral pumpkins are available to order now. 🍂 Send me a message or click on the link in the comments to order your fall pumpkin. 🎃

Just in time for the crisp fall weather and Thanksgiving. 🍂🎃

Floral pumpkins feel like the crescendo of the growing season — all that spring and summer energy and beauty, packed into one beautiful arrangement.

Order link is in my profile and in the comments below.

Last year the frost hit me unexpectedly. It was my first growing season in the countryside, and I was still in what I sometimes call “suburban denial.” I thought I was safe. 😃

Our property is raised and quite open (amazing views of the fields!), so no, there’s no microclimate here. If it’s a cold night, chances are pretty good that frost WILL happen. Lesson learned!

This fall I’ve been covering and uncovering plants, trying to prolong the season for as long as I can. But the days are getting shorter and colder, and I need time to close the garden as well.

So tonight, I picked these flowers with gratitude, joy and a little melancholy, quietly appreciating and savouring the moment. If frost happens, I’ll be okay… 🤍

And if you’d like to enjoy some of these beauties too, let’s talk! After tonight’s fresh flower harvest, I’m also going to spend some quality time decorating the floral pumpkins for you. 🎃🌸

Hoping to post some photos tomorrow!
